Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread September 22

Sanchez shaved his beard...anyone else notice that?

Maybe the goatee was his mojo?

Almost a wild pitch score there. Thankfully Avila stopped them from scoring.

Sux suck...Tigers should still be able to overcome their fuckups by taking advantage of any by shitcacago.

We know Mario...that happens all the time, we even get away with that.

That would have been hilarious if they had all, like, run into each other and the ball had dropped in...

This game is already coming down to that big missed opportunity when Infante's line drive was caught and Santiago swing-bunted on the first pitch to end the inning.

so that's what an inning with no shit sox baserunners looks like.

*sigh*

looks like the kid might be a decent pitcher when his defense isnt fucking him in the ass like the last time we faced him.

it would have helped if sanchez hadnt decided to take a shit on the mound.

It would also help if Cleveland wasn't facing the worst team since the '03 tigers.

Looks like we'll have to wait another couple days to clinch, barring another big comeback.. which, without 3 of our regulars, isn't likely.

Game so far:

Don't worry, we finish the season vs. the worst team in the NL, the Marlins.

Yeah, but for a while we might have been able to clinch at home.

Granted, it was such a small amount of time science has a hard time recording it, but nevertheless, we had a chance.

Ive seen some people on twitter lamenting giving Garcia to the sux. Yeah, I sure do miss a corner OF with a .734 OPS. That defensively brilliant SS with his .751 OPS just wasnt worth it.

And yes, I do know that Avi could eventually end up with much better offensive numbers than that. I just personally dont think it likely. He never impressed me much in the times i saw him with the team. And Iggy might not maintain a ~.750 OPS. But all the whining is premature and annoying.
