Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread September 22

Well, both our game and cleveland has broken open now. Not winning the division today regardless.
 
The comeback isnt happening again, and cleveland is up 7-2 now because the Astros cant even play well at a little league level. We'll have to wait for later this week to clinch.

And yes, I do know that Avi could eventually end up with much better offensive numbers than that. I just personally dont think it likely. He never impressed me much in the times i saw him with the team. And Iggy might not maintain a ~.750 OPS. But all the whining is premature and annoying.

This is going to be the first time in several days that the magic number is not going to move...
 
I shouldnt be so pessimistic after last night. If theres a team we could come back on twice in a row, its these shitsux.

True, but that comeback was built on drawing walks. So far...it's not looking good.
 
better than nothing, i guess. sometimes it seems like the only thing we do with the bases loaded is hit sac flies.
