Tigers vs. yankees ALDS Game 5 Thread Oct. 6

That really hurts, not scoring that run better not come back to hurt us. Can't really blame JP but man that sucks.

Magglio doubles down the leftfield line,

yankees bullpen up already,

Avila grounder to second and Magglio to third,

Peralta has to stop swinging at that off speed shit low, f'n grounder to arod,

Santiago takes a strike on the corner, outside good call ump, doesn' bite for the off speed in the dirt, f'n swings at shit inside and low, takes that one for a full count, fouls it back, swings and misses another shit pitch inside and low dumb F at bat,

30 pitches for yanks pitcher,

Tigers lead 2 - 0.

I blame Peralta and Avila being nonexistant this series for this inning.. Can't expect Santiago to drive him home with 2 outs, but he had a decent AB...

Can't fault Santiago here regardless what happens.. A lot of pitches this AB..

Who cares?

down 2-0 the Yankees will use every arm in the 'pen if they have to, pitch count is a non-factor

It was a good AB other than the end result.. Better than Avila's

1 st inning jeter and cano both took alot of time and stepped out the box to try to break Fister's fast rhythm. might be something they continue.

Pitch Count always is a factor. The more pitches a pitcher throws the more information the hitters have.

it wasnt a very good at bat to be honest. he was WAYYYY off on anything inside and the balls he should have hit right down the middle he missed too...

It seems like there are a few guys who are consistently hitting each game, but huge holes as well.. Mainly Jackson and Avila..

whoa....nice pitch fister....thanks for the help ump

If Fister keeps it up.. Jim Leyland should up his usual PC to 120.. Although he might get bombed after 100..

The end result was the same, no better, no worse.

Does not matter how many pitches he wastes, or anything, he failed in that AB.
