Tigers vs. yankees Game Thread April 6

twinks scored a run in the top 9th to beat the orioles 6-5, and indians got SHO by the rays 6-0. The royals closer holland blew the save, giving up 3 runs vs the phillies in the bottom of the 9th for a walkoff win 4-3. So now 3 teams including the Tigers are still tied for first in the ALCD @ 3-2.

Hopefully JV will pitch a masterful game vs tubathia and the yanx tomorrow afternoon, and at least the twinks and white sox will lose their contests.

I noticed, and not surprisingly, Boesch with 9 saw the fewest pitches of anyone with more than 1 PA.

Looks like Kevin Long has not taught him to be any more selective yet either.

No batting coach has had success changing Boesch's mechanics or his patience level. Brennan has ignored all suggestions.

joba is just a weird looking guy no matter what.

Good win today. I'm surprised I haven't seen a send Al Al to Toledo and fire JL after the close call in the middle of the game.
