Why can Porcello never have a clean first inning?

he was 1 strike away from a 1-2-3 inning, then gave up a hit on an 0-2 pitch. an 0-2 pitch! Has the pitch count stuff changed the game to a point now where we just aren't willing to waste one anymore?

TV has a longer delay than radio, for censorship purposes.

Dude, he got a weak ground ball it just happened to go right up the middle.

Can't fault him for that pitch/hit, he's going to do plenty we can blame him for, just not that.

They're never going to delay a Verlander start. Others may get pushed back but he wouldn't...unless he was injured. You have no worries.
