Tiger's @ Yanks April 29th

he's a fucking coward, thats what. wouldnt defend scherzer during the game, wont defend him afterwards. get a fucking clue smokes, scherzer didnt get wild until AFTER he got squeezed so badly he had no idea where to put a pitch to get a strike. its 83% Drake's fault. but leyland wont stand up to the umps or MLB likely out of fear of being tossed/fined/suspended. he needed to show some balls and scream his head off at drake after the jeter ab and get tossed, but apparently he'd rather be a pussy and put it all on his pitcher.

You've spewed a lot of nonsense this weekend. You're on as bad a streak as the Tigers.

this team is fucking pathetic right now, and the worst part is most of them just seem to be going through the motions, including leyland.

I agree...there's no passion and it is pissing me off. Everytime one of these clowns makes an out on another lazy ass fly ball with runners on, they just turn around and trot back to the dugout like it's nothing. I want to see some yelling, some helmet throwing in the dugout, SOMETHING to let me know they're upset that they failed to do their job AGAIN. Just nothing.....very disheartening to watch as a fan.

There's roughly 86% of the season left to play. Throwing helmets and screaming would be pointless at this point. After 22 games last year we were 12-10 and then we went on a 7 game losing streak (including us being swept by Seattle and Cleveland). We've played much better teams so far this year. Be patient everybody. It's baseball. Long way to go.

Lots of people told Roger Federer the same thing when he was coming up in tennis. Just because you aren't out there yelling and throwing things, doesn't mean that you don't care. Some players show their emotions differently.

So in other words you subscribe to Leyland's arcane philosophy that games in April "don't matter." If they go 13-9 after 22 last year we have home field advantage vs. Texas and maybe the outcome is different. Doesn't matter when you win or lose them it still counts.
