Pitching for us was bad for allowing baserunners, but we stranded a lot, Yankees 15 team LOB.

Another winnable game but the bats just did not show up.

Normally I'd be excited to see KC, CWS, SEA, and OAK in the next 4 series, but right now...I dunno.

I didn't see any of the game when Scherzer was throwing, but listened to it on the radio. Jim and Dan were saying he looked very good just was a horrible squeeze job by the ump.

That being said, I find it odd that Leyland put it all on Scherzer in his post game interview. Said things like "when your that wild..." and "Didn't have it today".

So not only did he not go out and get run out of the game defending his pitcher early, but basically put it on him.

This is the same guy that will/would NEVER say anything negative about guys like Inge and Raburn. I don't get it.

he's a fucking coward, thats what. wouldnt defend scherzer during the game, wont defend him afterwards. get a fucking clue smokes, scherzer didnt get wild until AFTER he got squeezed so badly he had no idea where to put a pitch to get a strike. its 83% Drake's fault. but leyland wont stand up to the umps or MLB likely out of fear of being tossed/fined/suspended. he needed to show some balls and scream his head off at drake after the jeter ab and get tossed, but apparently he'd rather be a pussy and put it all on his pitcher.
