Usually this type of attitude only happens after a player has become a bonafied star and then sees his role diminish (still dont know of anybody ever trying to sabotage the play - ever). What seperates Titus from those clowns is he actually believes he deseserves more passes than Calvin. He was second on the team in targets after Johnson, second! You dont see Sheff, or Burleson (when he was out there) complaining about the lack of balls they are getting..and those guys are established NFLers.

Well, if there wasn't proof that this year's team is a joke then this is it. This dude makes one less player on the field with his bullshit and should have been immediately cut. Schwartz sucks in dealing with this issue because it was shown against houston that young isn't even needed for the passing game to get going.

Now, it would be sweet if he took last team reps all season, was deactivated for every game for the rest of the season, then released the day after the last game of the season, but they haven't been tough on any issues this team has, so I imagine he'll be playing again by next week. This team needs to get a clue.

I hope so, because any player in their right mind that does this kind of stuff deserves to be cut on the spot.

I don't get why Titus doesn't think he got targets either. Lions targeted Titus twice in the endzone on the two failed redzone attempts on 3rd down. Both times he was covered well on 3rd down one led to a coverage sack by Burnett and one led to an incomplete. Casey Hayward made Titus his bitch.

After he lined up in the wrong spot, Stafford had 2 targets to Titus. Again both incomplete on the drive down 21-20 right after the Gosder false start(due to Titus).

That being said, Titus has a cheap contract and does have some talent. Lions can't afford to cap cut Burleson and cut/trade Titus. Calvin and Broyles did well, Thomas had one big TD catch but people forget the Texans were missing their top corner Jonathan Joseph.

And the second half wasn't that great for Detroit. The lone TD in the second half was due to good running by Detroit.

The only person who needs a clue is you. Football is a fuckin business. You don't just cut a talented 2nd year WR with a team friendly contract because he made you mad.

He was benched.
He was told to go home for 10 days.....which is almost unheard of.
Missed an entire game.
He's certainly going to see a reduced role going forward.

Maybe they can only get a 6th rounder for him. Maybe more. Who knows. But it's better than NOTHING. The only point that cutting him would prove is that Schwartz and Mayhew are morons.

He's willing to take it that far when we are fighting for our playoff lives and trying to beat the GB Packers. If you are Stafford, how do you ever trust him again to throw the ball to him??? Is he going to break off the route incorrectly so I throw a pick? Is he going to bat the ball into the air so it's picked? Is he going to drop it on purpose?
