Titus Young

It's because he's an immature spoiled brat.

That's common in the NFL and in 47 years I've never seen a player lineup in the wrong spot on purpose. Gotta be more than "because he's a spoiled brat".

The only person who needs a clue is you. Football is a fuckin business. You don't just cut a talented 2nd year WR with a team friendly contract because he made you mad.

He was benched.
He was told to go home for 10 days.....which is almost unheard of.
Missed an entire game.
He's certainly going to see a reduced role going forward.

Maybe they can only get a 6th rounder for him. Maybe more. Who knows. But it's better than NOTHING. The only point that cutting him would prove is that Schwartz and Mayhew are morons.

Like you.

Maybe you would put up with that BS, but what he does is completely unnacceptable. We don't roam the sidelines with headphones, but if an issue boils over enough for staff members to get caught in the middle of a shouting match then THERE'S A BIG PROBLEM. It's possible that he could have single-handedly lost the game with his actions, not to mention all the stuff he did to get to that point. I'm a cut my losses kind of guy, and he's done nothing outside of one game to warrant keeping him. Mayhew could get a 6th for him in his sleep. So fucking what.

Didn't we know all this a day after he was kicked off the team? Keep Titus around, let him carry Broyles jock and pads after practice. Then let him return kicks and punts in game. Can't be worse than Logan. Maybe he'll get some sense knocked into him.

He is apparently the type who would smear something in Broyles jock and pads to make him unavailable to play. He'd also either fail to catch a single punt or kick or, if he did, just simply hand the ball to the other team instead of running with it, whichever he decided was what he wanted to do at that particular moment.

Do you guys remember when Tatum Bell hid Rudi Johnsons bags when he came in for a free agent visit. Joe Cullen driving through Wendy's naked. Charles Rodgers. The Lions sure know how to find the crazies sometimes.

Tatum Bell hiding Rudi Johnson's shit was pretty damn funny

According to a tweet I saw on ESPN, Titus Young was seen picking up trash around the Lions facility yesterday. Thats just funny, its like community service or some shit.

Raiola on Titus Young: "We've moved on from him. He wants to be an asshole, let him be an asshole. It's not my problem."

More Raiola on Young: "What we can control is the guys who want to be here. And when you act like that, you don't want to be here."

Reggie Rogers and his driving skills that resulted in a triple-manslaughter. Shaun Rogers and his off-field distractions...strippers, handguns, substance abuse. Gotta avoid players named "Rogers."

a guy that catches 1 or 2 passes a game doesnt deserve 30 replies on his thread.

Cut this clown... I could care less if he a second round pick.. A 4-7 team does not need this type of cancer in the clubhouse moving forward.. What a freaking douche bag..

For those of you hoping that Young might come back from his banishment with regret and a different attitude, looks like that was wishful thinking.

It also looks like his day might be numbered in Detroit afterall..atleast Raiola hopes so.

Q. What led to your absence from the team for last week?s loss to the Houston Texans?

A. ?Well, what happens in house stays in house.?

Q. Are you disappointed you?ve been sent home from the facility twice in six months?

A. ?Well, I just made my comment on that whole situation."

Q. How are you progressing this week to get back in the playing mix?

A. ?Well."

Q. Do you expect to play Sunday?

A. ?Well, that?s all in God?s hands.?

Q. Lions coach Jim Schwartz said you need to be more accountable, is this part of that?

A. ?Well, you have to talk to Coach about that.?

Q. What would you say to fans who wonder if they can trust you again?

A. ?Well, I?m not here to talk about that past.?

Q. Do you understand why people are curious about your situation?

A. ?I didn?t get the question."

(The question was repeated, and Young, who wore sunglasses and a stocking cap during the interview, did not respond.)

Q. Are you disappointed in yourself?

A. ?I?m not here to comment about the past.?

When asked about Young, Detroit Lions Captain Domonic Raiola didn't make any attempt to hide his feelings..
"It's not a distraction because we have moved on from him," Raiola said. "If he wants to be an a------, let him be an a------. It's not my problem. What we can control is the guys who want to be here. I want people who want to be here, and I think everybody else wants the same thing.

"If you don't want to be here, then leave."

Raiola said he has "no idea" why Young is disgruntled.

"We've got the best player in the world over there (in Calvin Johnson)," Raiola said. "He should look no further than that to know how to act. If you are going to act like that, you are done."

I really don't like Dom but love his response to the questions. Gtfo Titus.

Agreed. Let's trade him somewhere where he could think he was the #1.

By the end of his career here in Detroit, Megatron will be as loved as Steve Yzerman.

I'm suprised that interview didn't end with "F'n don't talk to me, knock it OFF!"

Yzerman won titles.

Megatron..........um.........we'll see.

Took Yzerman 15 seasons to win the first one. By your (consistently flawed) logic, Barry Sanders and Charlie Sanders have not earned similar respect from Detroit sports fans.
