Top candidates to replace Jim Bob Cooter

Is there a point in not firing Cooter right now? It'd be 4 games to get a new oc situated and get the players learning his scheme.

So promote the QB coach and have him next season? Or someone else on our team? Wait to the years over fire the GM so the new GM can fire Patricia and the new HC can fire everyone else..

Get Todd Bowles for D

Adam gase and dirk koetter are probably going to get canned... both quality OC candidates.

I don't mind that idea at all. Unless it's Bellicheck I don't want another former member of the Patriots staff ever again.

He's gone at the end of the yr. And no no no...the Lions don't hire a new OC with 4 games left lol. Wtf are you talking about? Whoever Cooter's assistant is, he gets the call for 4 games. That or some position coach on offense gets the nod. Then he's shown the door. You bring in a whole new offense after the Super Bowl. That's how it's done.

That's how we got Jim Bob.

So what?? No coach on that offense has given anyone any reason to promote them. It's crazy talk. The only coaches I can see coming back are the RB coaches and maybe the OLine coaches. Maybe!!

I keep hearing Adam Case, HC from Miami. Another OC that did well when Peyton Manning was the QB.

Gase was canned as planned. Supposedly has a good relationship with Patricia.

Another interesting candidate would be Sarkisian. If hes sober, he was once known as a great offensive mind. The downside obviosuly being hes now been in like 5 different jobs in 4 years because for some reason people love to fire the guy. Whatever the reasons are...a drunk guy thats hard to get along with is still better than Cooter.

Youd have to think Marvin, Golladay, Kerryon, Stafford will interest someone in revamping their career.

There's one thing a OC or HC likes more picking their own QB. Or at the very least a young QB and/or a top pick. I'd honestly fire Patty and trade for John Harbaugh and trade Matty.

and while the D looked better towards the end of the year i think Pasquiloni is a dud. Would be great if we could get 2 new coordinators. Gase on O and Bowles on D?!

Arizona, Buffalo, Rodgers'less. Probably why the D looked better. But we do have a couple nice players on D.
