Undrafted free agents

There is a twitter story going around that after he went undrafted he has tried to go back to Oregon but he was denied. The kid made a BIG mistake

I think he might of been a little nervous that Bennet had his job snatched up. Bennet is gonna be a solid college QB and in limited time looked more of a run threat then Thomas. Chip Kelly never seemed too sold on DT.

Can somebody please explain what arm strength in NFL speak actually means? I've seen the highlight films of Moore throwing bombs to Titus. The ball doesn't wobble or anything.

Is he a Verlander or a Maddox? Unfortunately for football, a Maddox type has a harder road. Granted there have been a bunch of shitty strong armed QB because you need accuracy as well. But the better QB all have accuracy, and a strong arm helps esp. in the NFL where speed rules on defense.

At least that's what I thing.

Not sure if you're dickin' around or serious... But it's

Having the ability to fit a pass through a tight window like Staff. With how hard he throws it's no problem. Most can loft bombs but few can pitch one through a window of 3 defenders. If a noodle armed QB were to try, it would be a pick 6.. They are limited to the throws they can make. That's why they call a deep out an NFL throw. You need the arm strength to push it there before a db can break on it.

I had a debate at work with a guy over it. He said it was just distance you can throw it. Moore has the accuracy, but (as I assumed), he does loft the long balls. So it more like putting the ball on a string(shorted route to the receiver). It will work at Boise but in the NFL a deep guy will break on the ball for a pick. Hitting him in stride though makes everything moot. We'll see. Hopefully we can get a couple high picks for him in 4 or 5 years.
