Many believe it was their cheating that put them over the top and helped them win the World Series.

Nobody knows but that had they not cheated ..all their advanced technologically and analytics still might not have been enough to win the World Series.

Saw this article about JV donating his weekly paycheck during the Coronavirus Shutdown to organizations that are helping with relief efforts.

At first I thought...holy shit, he is really stepping up. The dude makes $33M a year. His weekly paychecks are over $1.2M based on the length of season. Then I found out he is donating the "small" checks he is getting during the shutdown (total of $286,500 over 60 days). A nice gesture but it feels like more of a publicity stunt since he and his wife told everyone about it on instagram.
