Vs Indiana

Why are passes 10 feet off target?

ive seen 2 - the first looked like a bad route and the second looked like pass interference on the route. Ive also seen 3 drops but none of that explains why we are trying to run outside.

1 drop and that was Dotson who was hit instantly

collins had 2 hands a ball that hit the turf. putting half the blame on lewerke for that unchallenged catchable ball is insane. Stewart has a drop too, doesnt he or does dotson have 2?

we are averaging 2.7 yards per carry and lewerke is 53% 9 yds per w/ 2 TDs, at least 2 bad drops and a couple bad routes/PI no calls, but tell me more about these 10 foot misses.

Its gut check time for those dbs. Especially the corners. Their coverage has always been suspect, but they at least could tackle before today.

I put 50/50 blame on that unforced, high 8 yard pass to a running back. Catchable, yes. But it was made much tougher by a bad throw.

it wasnt. a great throw to a wide open back but he got 2 hands on it. he gets the bulk of the blame for not making the catch. had he made it and stumbled to the ground, Lewerke could get some blame for just getting 1st down when it should have been a TD or at least a 1st and goal.

starting to think this defense should just run man coverage and blitz every obvious pass play

I hope Josiah comes up with a play to redeem himself. He's just awful today

Death by a thousand paper cuts with these short passes. Just like northwestern has done to us for years

Seems like we're playing much too safe on defense waiting for them to make a mistake. Not being aggressive at all

Indiana OC is so dumb. You shred the MSU defense by completely abandoning the run and then you get to the 5 yard line and instead of doing the same thing what do you do? You run the ball for 0 yards. What a moron
