Vs. Purdue

Msu is in big trouble, looking like last year's Florida state team. We're beating bad teams and not putting the game away.

So you're saying we're going to lose in the playoffs?

How conservative was our play-calling in the second half? 22 runs to 8 passes, of which I believe only three were even completed. I'm not the brightest football fan in the world, but even I can figure out that any team down to MSU at the half can pretty much stack everyone in the box for the rest of the game with impunity.

I know being down both our LTs probably created some worries with pass-protection, but c'mon. The team seems to actively NOT want to put opponents away, and it consistently leaves the defense out to dry.

Also, can someone explain to me why Geiger is still on the team? He's basically a coin-flip chance on field goals, and has even missed (blocked, but because of a bad kick) an extra point. Do we really not even have a soccer player we could steal for one day a week?

Play calling has been extremely conservative other than the rose bowl team for many years. I havent seen 1 play action pass the entire year! Are you telling me burbridge and cook cant connect ona pass over 20 yards in the air? Ive been complaining abut this for years. I can tell you what we will do. 1st and 2nd down run it up the middle. 3rd and 5 pass for 5 yards trying to get the first down. Here is the game plan for msu PROTECT SHORT ALL GAME. very predictable and very frustrating.
