Rewatch the game. There were plenty of doubles. Heck the big td was almost a pick 6 the other way and the other td was a rub route. Your complaints on who stafford threw to are unjustified

Calvin was getting other people open in the second half and they couldnt catch the damn ball. Once Bush went out and Pettidrop and Bell got the dropsies the game was sealed. We cant move the ball if guys dont get open or make the grab. But I blame Linehan, the playcalling got super conservative and the personnel packages were a joke. Why if you have all these good hands and athletic tes why not use them. Your explosive running back is gone and you lose your speedy wr why not use the Pats offense from last year and create some mismatches. I would put Chef in the slot and Pett and Fauria on the ends, Bell in the Backfield and CJ on the outside this gets big tes against saftey's and lbs and you give Bell space and CJ pulls coverage so you have openings. It was just a bad game plan trying to go 3 wide and a rb in the slot with pettidrop being the only te. What a wasted game.

All I know is I've seen CJ make catches with a slew of defenders on him. When you're losing a ball game and struggling to get others involved don't forget about CJ. He's remarkable. Just like Barry, we knew he was getting 8-9 in the box but you don't forget about him..

If anything you have CJ move 2 yards back from the line, throw it to him and let him make things happen..

Bently pretty much raped the WR. That may have been the most obvious PI call that I have seen this year. The play between CJ and Peterson was not PI IMO

CJ should be targeted a hell of a lot more than 8 times.

Bell and pettigrew didn't execute don't blame stafford or the linehan for that.

Linehan called stupid plays and bad personnel packages that is directly on him. Bell and Pettigrew did screw up but there are other guys that can make plays but if you dont set up mismatches then thats on the coaching staff.

They had nobody to mismatch. Cards controlled clock with long drives and lions had terrible field position for all 12 series in the game. Best start was own 21 right before half.

for someone who watches the game multiple times you seem to miss a lot. Go back and count how many first downs we had in the 2nd half. Then come back and tell me again how my complaints about who staff throws too are unjustified. If hes throwing to the correct people all the time and you can only amount that much offense for an entire half...then linehan should be gone......apparently the gameplan is to not make any first downs???

You need to rewatch. Tons of drops in second half on top of poor field position and cards controlled the clock. Bush fumble and blocked fg on a good drive too. Yeah he should, he's freakin' Calvin Johnson. He catches balls all the time with 2 and 3 guys on him. You know why? Because he can leap higher than everyone else..and has great hands.
