oligarchy is the word I should have used.
See my post after the post of yours I?m quoting.

Get Startedoligarchy is the word I should have used.
Every society ever has been - including and especially the commies.
Aristocracy - rule by the best.
Oligarchy - rule by the few.
Wait, what?
What the fuck does that mean?
And who decides the difference?
oligarchy is the word I should have used.
wouldn't rule by the best be a meritocracy? is "best" maybe tongue in cheek?
How do you like this headline?
?Wealthy pro-choice zealot California oligarchs establishing fund for Disney adventure/abortion tours??
Here might be a good one:
?Come to California! Make abortion fun again!?
I think California should use the little sketch I wrote in #69 and start running radio/TV ads in trigger law states.
maybe. a lot of intense protest videos coming out of CA on twitter right now.
Like the George Floyd thing... whole country is just ready to go up in flames like tinder. Not the sex/dating app, but the actual analogy to fuel for a fire. The media narrative of how things are okay, except prices are just a little out of wack & keep going up somehow (but definitely NOT due to rampant M&A giving a handful of companies market power over everything we need) is WAAAAY off.
So, now, some private companies in California are talking about financing trips for qualified prospective patients to California to have abortions.
All the prospective patient would have to do would be to sit for a pleasant, enjoyable and entertaining 90 minute presentation/demonstration on the benefits of vacation ownership.
LOL, ok that made me laugh. I been through a couple of those and yeah I avoid those at all cost now. pissed the guy off the last time but oh well so sorry so sad.
Yeah but I have learned something since I made the post.
If the prospect chooses to become involved in the joys of vacation ownership, they?re sent home with an abortion.
If they choose not to, they sent out with a wire hanger.
saw a comment that Native Americans should open abortion clinics on their land, like they do with casinos. Good idea, no?
Hmmmmm?.I think, in general, culturally native Americans ain?t too keen on abortion.
That?s the impression that I get.
EDIT: My bad.
I forgot about Elizabeth Warren.
She loves abortion.
She probably wishes she could perform every abortion in the country.
But I'm not sure they like lots of white people coming on their land and gambling either; they do it to make money.
And they'll be able to keep abortion protestors from harassing the poor women that need to go to clinics like that, which is good. Harassing poor women as they struggle with a momentous decision like that is a cowardly thing to do.

Peaceful protest is a sacred right in America. That?s cowardly but making the ?momentous decision? (that no one should even have the right to make) to end the life an innocent and defenseless human because of money (or for any other reason) is super brave. The real horror is that someone might plead with them to not go through with it or maybe even yell at them as they walk into the clinic.
I don?t know.
From what I?ve come to understand, I don?t think native Americans would view it as equivalent.
A number of Californians are quite up in arms about all this, about something that is really not going to have an affect on anyone in California.
Except to maybe bring in more travel and tourism revenue.
Which has been down for the last couple of years or so, for some reason.
sorry, that's my bad. I've been telling everyone CA is overrated and kinda sucks.
quit pretending you care about innocent and defenseless human beings, no one's buying it.
