I followed it a bit on Yahoo! Not sure I'd ever understand why you kick it 48 yard FG before 4th down. That's not a gimme. If I'm not mistaken I think it was 2nd down..

Completely agree, remember when we did that against Texas last year, didn't work for us either..both chi and minn did that once in overtime today and they both failed as well. I don't understand why take a down off the board to try a long FG, it's stupid

Short field attempts maybe, ok but longer ones just dumb

Remember when Detroit was down three to TB and was at the TB 28 and the ball bounced out of CJs hands and was intercepted costing them then game? That's exactly why teams do that.

I understand their reasons for doing it and don't agree with it as being the right call, play to win not give up downs for long field goal attempts...the TB game example...trying to get more yards was the right call..

Trailing in a game you use all your downs. That was just bad luck.

Today was a tie game, get into for sure range first..
