Wide spread election fraud 2020

Spartanmack should use a picture of Wallace Shawn for his avatar.

but only as the character from the movie; he's good in real life.

edit: for the avoidance of doubt, I mean Wallace Shawn is good in real life.

In post #759, I posted a clip of Mitt Romney calling what happened “an insurrection - incited by the president of the United States.”

Does that mean everyone needs to be taken out and lynched? Of course not – and I’m not talking about just the white ones.

Everyone is entitled to due process, obviously beginning with answering was it indeed an insurrection or was it not?

Calling for hanging at this juncture is premature, but it is very reasonable to want to explore did this go beyond a protest into, as Romney referred to it, an “insurrection.”

like I said, anyone calling for hanging hundreds of people the day it happened, and probably after an investigation is an idiot.

I just ran an errand and listened to NPR and was astounded at how stupid you can be and still get on the air. The first "expert" was saying that the Capitol police should be investigated for their complicity in what happened yesterday because they basically did nothing, letting it all happen because white supremacy groups have infiltrated police forces all across America and we haven't rooted them out yet. The next guy came on and said we know the response would be much different if it were black and brown people infiltrating the capital - I guess that guy missed the fact that cops basically did nothing while BLM protestors mostly peacefully destroyed major American cities all over the country. Not only was there no push back, but the hosts were basically in full agreement.

sure, if you make yours the Billy Bob Thornton (as Karl Childers) and MC changes his to W Earl Brown - I'll even give him a baseball.

Yes, that?s all dumb.

I didn?t hear the calls for hanging; could be hyperbolic.

I heard real legitimate news people yesterday ? and I turned on Fox because they were least likely to be tainted by the TDS, I guess maybe I could?ve turned on Newsmax but anyway ? and people were using the rhetorical term ?heads will roll.?

Now I don?t think anybody was seriously talking about people actually being guillotined.

But literal acts of sedition are often associated with the penalty of hanging.

I don?t think anyone will ultimately be charged with sedition or be hung.

it was not hyperbolic - the guy was calling for the immediate impeachment, removal and arrest of Trump and for the arrest, conviction and sentencing of the protestors specifically saying sedition is punishable by hanging.

I agree, i expect some trespassing and assault charges, maybe a few more serious than that but I don't see us hanging anyone, let alone hundreds of people.

which guy are you talking about? During pretty much any public event these days, you can find someone clamoring for the authorities to murder the other side, but you've now posted about this guy (or is it more than one guy?) a half dozen times in this thread.

ha. after all those speeches yesterday about what an affront this was to our sacred democracy and hallowed halls of the capitol, and urging the cabinet or congress to impeach Trump and restore decency and all that, the Senate and House both adjourned til after the inaugaration.

I guess it wasn't THAT big of a deal after all...

Romney also used the word sedition. Maybe he was being hyperbolic.

That said, yes some people say some crazy shit.

Some people like Alex Jones and Keith Oberman make a pretty good living doing it. I recently heard a clip of Oberman saying that Trump should be charged with account of capital murder for every American who died of the Covid.

Why stop there? Why not charge them for everybody in the world who died of Covid?

Don't you read DSF? Romney is an evil corporate raider which makes him an asshole unfit to hold public office. We must find everything he says to be the worst thing anyone could say. He's basically Trump who is basically Hitler.

no, you didn't hear any hosts or guests on TV or talk radio seriously calling for police to open fire and kill the mostly peaceful rioters. That is complete and total nonsense. You may have heard a host or guest on NPR or MSNBC claiming they heard white supremacist groups threatening violence, but that was only to link them to Trump and claim he was basically calling for people to be murdered. You may not see the difference but it's big.

I didn't. I read twitter today and saw posts from people I follow that I'd consider "on the left" saying things like "I don't want police to shoot ANYONE," or "I hate cops and I don't want them to shoot people, period."

I'm not denying it happened, and in fact I am pretty sure it did.

but you keep referring to "that guy" who supposedly said these things, and so now I'm curious who it was... did he have an actual show, like is he a known figure or was this just some random twitter post or guy on the street?

Go back and read the previous posts. It's with the election fraud evidence.

so first you did hear people saying that, now you didn't. which is it? And why would you see it on Twitter or the radio or on TV today? nobody is talking about the mostly peaceful protests from this summer on any of those platforms right now.

"go home, we love you, you’re very special."

probably something Romney would have said if Trump didn't say it first - you know because private equity people are assholes who shouldn't hold public office. I think it's a loose translation of a quote from one of Hitler's speeches. And no doubt it was directed primarily at the white supremacists in the crowd, just like the "very fine people" comment.
