It's kind of crazy for the odds to be posted when we know so little about the composition of the 2014 teams; it will be interesting to see if the odds change by spring.

I think the best team won. The Sox are a complete team top to bottom including a good bench and bull pen.

Outside of Uehara the Red Sux bullpen was nothing special, just about average.

And their bench? Ross, Bogaerts, and Berry were nothing special, only Gomes and Nava were decent.

The Red Sux won because they faced 2 teams who fell apart when they should have mangled the Red Sux. Any little bit of offense at all from the Tigers and we would have beaten them easily.

Seems just a bit unfair that some cities or states become fortunate to enjoy a WS championship team more often than many others, but at least we have had a contender ballclub for about half of the past 10 years. Not so very long ago the Tigers were one of the laughingstocks of MLB with a pretty bleak looking future.

Tigers do have good starting pitching. But you have to get it to the closer. 1 Tigers cow pen is an issue!
Tigers line up is good. 2 But the leadoff hitter K's too much AND realy they have too many station to station batters.
Tigers bench, is made up of weak hitters, and more station to station players.

Not a bad World Series. Not as good as 2011. Red Sox are the whineyest team to ever win a World Series.
