Yoenis Cespedes - Cuban CF

I have him in fantasy, but the damn retarded league locked the rosters a week before opening day....so he's stuck on my bench, while matt joyce and francour get to start.

Also, that lineup is locked until April 16th, it's not even week to week.

Now? of course not. Unless Yoennis, who @ the alleged age of 26, is already on the cusp of being too "old" for a MLB rookie, proceeds to have 10 or more seasons of Reggie-like prime, he is certainly no sure "lock" for the Hall, now or even 15-20 years hence. That is why I posted using the words "might" and "may" instead of "will" and "would", btw.

LOL. The guy hits his first tator and people think he is the real deal. Wait until scouting reports get out and he has to adjust.

When you use the words might and may, then you can add anyone to that might and may list. Sure he "could". So "could" Danny Worth.

Okay, I will blindly take only Cespedes' MLB offensive stats x all 3 OF positions for the next couple of seasons, and you blindly take Worth's offensive stats x all 3 middle IF stats, andwe will see who comes out with the superior numbers...lol.

As far as Yoennis being already or "IS the real deal", I thought that I made it pretty damn clear that I was basing it upon how he "just might" perform...jeezus..

I had him my starting line-up... It pays to have a commissioner who knows what he is doing!!!! Those darn games in japan always throw people off... As far as YC... I never would have drafted him but i needed a center fielder at the time so i snatched him up... I am hoping for a .280 season but worry it will not be that good...

3 hits in 10 at bats so far. A double and two home runs. Not too shabby.. Also 5 k's. I think he could be Dave Kingman..

1-3 so far, 2 k's and a long 3-run home run. Watching him tonight he looks like he has really nice power swing..

First series against a bad team and rivals have already figured out he can't hit good breaking balls.

Cespedes looks more than just months away from being a MLB hitter. He may not be around in the 2nd half and may need an entire season in the minors.

What are you watching? First, the long home run last night was off King Felix, one of the best. Second, he might stink but as of right now I'm not sure you can make that judgement based on 4 games.

MLB is loaded with players who strikeout a ton.

And Lastly, Oakland is the perfect place for him to figure it out because they won't be contending.

.308 with 3 long balls and 7 ribbies is a pretty nice start. If you're going to bash someone you might need to time it a bit better as he's getting it done, now.
