    2016 Draft- Who ya got?

Pretty excited that this iteration of us being the worst team in the NFL will happen under the new rookie wage scale. Calvin,Suh,Matt kinda destroyed our cap under the old scale. That and the total mismanagement of finances and lack of planning by the front office.

    I Apologize

LKP admitting our beloved team is a dumpster fire? hughes consoling LKP? Who divided by zero?

If things go really wrong this year...

Man was I naive I don't know when the first win will happen

Suh might be in some shit over this one

Pretty sure the Green Bay II incident (first step on Rodgers was accidental, second was 100% intentional IMO) was the restart of his discipline counter. I remember one of the talking heads making a big deal that the Green Bay game marked the first game since the slate was wiped clean and Suh...

Game 4: Lions @ Seahawks *Monday Night* Thread

It feels to me like a close game, and ugly game, and a game that we find a way to lose in the end. 16-13 Hawks. But you never know. How's that for hedging?

    Which coaches would you prefer?

The single most useful organizational move is also the one least likely to happen. The Ford's selling the team. Unfortunately, you can't fire the owner.

Tate: Defenses knew what we were doing

Or that the Saint's window has slammed shut. They look to be two years away from paper bags at the Superdome.

    Speaking of Ebron...

OBJ would not be OBJ on this team, with this system, these coaches and this QB.

    Nice Job Mayhew!

Do you know how hard it is to calculate cap hits using fingers, toes and an abacus?

Game 1: Lions @ Chargers Thread

Maybe the other teams won't figure out that Stafford can't play under pressure. I'm surprised he doesn't get blitzed every down.

    2016 draft priority.

If things go really wrong this year...

Don't want him dumped wheels. Just looking at cap numbers. This year, he would cost 10 million more to cut than to keep. Next year changes that. Actually for Calvin too. Chalk it up to bored with 4 days to go.

If things go really wrong this year...

This is assuming a down year from both the team AND the QB. Again, I don't want him cut and I'm hopeful that he will have a good year, this is more of a what if. Restructuring is a bad idea in this scenario IMO. You just kick the can of the giant cap hit further and further down the road...

If things go really wrong this year...

Is there a chance that the Lions move on from some guys? I am not rooting for this. I think we have a decent chance to make the playoffs this year again. But...if we have a down year (as we have every single year following a playoff berth) and especially if we have a down year and #9...

    buyers or sellers?

This. I keep hoping DD's "we're not selling" rhetoric is an attempt to drive up trade values. But it's probably not.

Blow it up. This is the year to do it.

I like it... But I'll settle for competitive.

    Houston At Detroit: Game 42

The thing is, he could get halfway there (40 per year) in the next three years. You just never know. Health will be the key. I think we are watching an all time great; like top 10 all time great, player.

    Houston At Detroit: Game 42

Until I look at numbers like these, I forget sometimes how good he is and how fortunate we are to have him.
