2014 Mock Draft Thread

youre talking about a team with a GM that pissed away several picks for the likes of tahir whitehead and mike Thomas...youtube of mayhew below:

Yea I know but 4th round picks and on are really a crap shoot anyway and he thought he was getting value for those picks. Not defending the idiot at all for the moves, but I can see why he made them. But not that we have Xanders in the war room, I don't want to give up any picks.

True. Like the Miggy trade, worth getting good rather than potential with a high chance to fail.

Mayhew tried to move up a few times for the sure thing, Pat Peterson most notably which we would have given up Nick Fairley and Titus Young. I'll take that trade.

I would have loved that. We could have even thrown in LeShoure.

normally id agree...especially coming off such a good draft last year. but, id give up our first second fourth and 5th if it meant we get Watkins and Claiborne.

1 Watkins
3 Whatever
4 Claiborne
4 Whatever

I agree with you but unlikely they part ways with him. But I would def do that and be happy and giddy about the upcoming season especially with a db specialist as DC.

Sign Nicks. The guy might cost a bit more than we want to spend, but if we can get his typical production out of him, it'll be worth it.

1. Justin Gilbert CB
2. Dion Bailey S
3. Kareem Martin DE
4. C.J. Fiedorowicz TE
4. Jeremy Gallon WR (i've seen some on here mock him as a 6th or 7th, but no way that happens with his production and 40 time at the combine)

after this, draft BPA. hopefully a QB and some linemen.

Houston had some injuries last year with his hammy being the biggest problem. I saw him struggling with it at GB and most of the season. He's a decent corner when healthy.

I don't think his inconsistency is even his biggest problem. He's been injured a lot. Lots of prior injuries + inconsistency = bad choice to spend a lot of money on

I'd much rather take 2 WRs in draft and sign a sure-handed guy in free agency who won't cost too much.

Walter football has Landry going to the jets a few pics before us in the third. Have to say even if we got Evans in the first I'd love a trade up to grab him in the third.
