Yeah true. He got paid. I'll just be pissed we couldn't build properly around him. He has his flaws but the guy deserves something. Somebody besides Calvin help him out.

Bad protection and no run game. Not many QBS could succeed.

The problem is there isn't anyone better sitting out there. There are people cheaper though so that could mean Stafford might be traded (for peanuts). They will never just cut him

You might be able to find another poor sap of a franchise like Houston, KC, or Dallas to take him off your hands. Regardless, a QB needs to be drafted early and thrown into the mix to start the process over again.

Pretty excited that this iteration of us being the worst team in the NFL will happen under the new rookie wage scale.

Calvin,Suh,Matt kinda destroyed our cap under the old scale. That and the total mismanagement of finances and lack of planning by the front office.

Van Noy was a healthy scratch yesterday. Our 2nd round pick is basically on the practice squad. And this year's 2nd round pick got benched after 1 quarter of football.

Most of the rest of the league get starters out of their 2nd round picks. We get a bag full of rocks, just like Charlie Brown on Halloween.

Injury pretty much derailed his develop and Lewis/Whithead "stepped up" per the coachig staff.

Pressure protection was better. 30% of his dropbacks the last two games.

Penalties by others were way worse though killing drives. See holding, ST holding with field position and that Tate illegal cut block that killed a good drive
He didn't have any picks against Seattle
2 of the picks may not be on him against Arizona
Abudllah fumbled twice, Tate fumbled, Calvin fumbled a game winner.
His weapons were open at times but blanketed others. Legion of Boom and Cards D especially Peterson and Mathieu

The guy gets no support. He makes his mistakes too and the mistakes have been killers. There are talented players that should support him but he gets nothing.

15 turnovers in 5 games. That is how you go 0-5. The good years, 2011 and 2014 we didn't turn it over as much. It is 100% of the reason we lose.

But I think we can agree that it's time for him to go.

I watched Eli march down the field for a game winning drive late in the 4th with his top 3 receiving options out. OBJ came back for 2 plays but still. Enough of the excuses. Elite qb's find a way to win and make players around them better

Hate to say it. Might have to go with Jared Goff- QB Cal.

Not sure we should draft the guy who just threw 5 INT's against the only tough team they played this season.

I don't see a QB in college that is worth the #1 pick in 2016. Might have to draft Staffords replacement in 2017 and go the FA route to fill the void.

Id go with Tunsil from Ole Miss. Solves two problems with one pick. Tunsil is an instant starter and upgrade at LT......and we can move Reiff to RT where he probably belongs and is an upgrade over what we have there.

Then Connor Cook in the 2nd if he's there. The talent is there......but he comes with his own issues. He's a better leader than Stafford is.....and less turnover prone. But he has been inaccurate this year.
