2019 Lions Offseason Moves, Lions re-sign LS Don Muhlbach

Meh. Not really. Comes in as the 3rd/4th WR. What's so stupid about it?

Jump in early on a guy that isn't a playmaker? Guys like him can be had on the cheap later in free agency. A 34 year old slow little white guy? It seems like the Lions are falling in love with ex Patriots.

The Detroit Lions will sign defensive back Justin Coleman to a four-year deal worth $36 million, according to multiple reports. The contract will make Coleman the highest-paid nickel cornerback in NFL history, according to reports.

Ex Patriot

Can we just change team name to the Detroit Patriots and get it over with? What happened to trying to make your own identity?

Flowers was 3rd ranked edge rusher in league. 16 to 17 per deal for him

Coleman stud slot cb in seattle too. Made them forget legion of boom

Yeah 7.5 sacks last year is a stud pass rusher.

He graded out as the sixth-best edge rusher in the NFL according to PFF, and he posted a career-best 88.7 overall score. Only Calais Campbell, Khalil Mack, J.J. Watt, Von Miller, and Cameron Jordan ranked higher.

Just copied the info but it?s not all about sack numbers. Plus he won?t turn 26 until August.

Let’s wait a see how next year plays out before ripping every signing.

Love the additions (and subtractions) to defense so far.

Not sure about the offense....Amendola and James. A healthy Kerryon and MJJ should help. Still need a guard.

Maybe they’ll go so heavy on defense that the offense won’t need to do much. Bevel + these signings tell me they’re focused on defense and clock control, this team won’t be all that entertaining but should be effective in winning games.

Jesse james to detroit
De check, cb check, slot wr check, te check

Some good moves. I really like the 4 year Coleman deal. We take Greedy and he’s on a rookie deal for.....wait for it.....4 years!!

Slay Diggs Walker Greedy and Coleman.

That’s a HUGE improvement.

Pretty pleased so far.

4 starter. Coleman is good. Slot wr plays often. James is a starter

Lions have only rg left as glaring need. Can get lb now or double up on de, cb or te

Isn't a #2 CB opposite Slay a glaring need too?

James will be a starter on the Lions...not a good TE but a definite upgrade over what they had last year.
