Home runs are down in the playoffs. What?s the reason?
 
Nationals are the prime example of it's not who is the best team or has the best record, it's who is hot at the right time. They are looking scary. If they sweep STL they may have a few days off as I expect the ALCS to go 6 or 7. So they will be able to set their rotation but their offense may cool off. Double edge sword.
 
I think it's great. Get rid of / don't sign a superstar and go to the WS.

Maybe the Tigers should've done that...not sign Miggy and kept the two pitchers (JV & Max)

100% agree. Especially since we never would've had Zimmerman

Well they tried to sign Max to an extension. He just got a huge offer from the Nats. He wasn't a super stud when Detroit got him so 2 good seasons it was probably a fair offer from MR. I.
 
But on to the other point they didn't need Harper at that price, just like St. Louis didn't need Pujols. Just like sooner than later, fans will start hating Harper, the guy that went to SD, and even eventually Trout.
 
I certainly hope the Astros beat the Yankees today. They are the last team I want in the WS
 
Severino with 36 pitches in the first inning. 1-0 stros.

I heard that NY was going to pitch a BP tomorrow. This might screw that plan up if Severino gets knocked out early :)
