2022 Mid Terms

That?s good to know.

Thanks for update.

I never did the crypto, not one cryptduckat nor one cryptshekel.

That said, our friend TigerMud?s little cartoon, which I?ve already said I have no idea what it means, doesn?t seem to be anti-semetic to me.

If it is I am missing something.

unrelated question - what's the story with your new sheriff? All I've seen is he's a former Republican but he won in a landslide so I can only assume he's all about the social justice soft on crime garbage that's turning LA into a shit hole. Looks like the media and city officials really went after Villanueva.

I don?t know the sheriff elect?s voter registration. During the campaign I don?t know that I heard that he?s soft on crime.

As I have said, I was a big fan of the outgoing sheriff, who is a registered Democrat, and of course I voted for him. Unfortunately there has been a whole lot of drama and controversy surrounding him, most primarily having to do with conflicts that the LA County board of supervisors, whom I?m not a fan of, had with him.

Perhaps voters were just a little tired of the noise and the drama, I don?t know.

The outgoing sheriff wished the incoming sheriff well, and I wish him the best too.

Yes, 100%. Not sure how anyone who wasn't born yesterday could question that.

LOL, isn't your team the one that is trying to dismantle all our irredeemably racist institutions (which is of course all of them) because they were built on colonialism and slavery or "whiteness" which is the greatest evil of them all? I don't know why but the lack of self-awareness still amazes me.

by the way, you're probably the only 2 people on this board that watched the announcement and/or ran to whatever moronnews.com leftist website you prefer to hear and read about all the ways Trump trying to get elected is a threat to democracy or whatever the new great fear is.

I am honestly having trouble understanding exactly what you're trying to say, so I'll wait until finish your usual 100+ edits of your post before attempting to reply. Let me know when you're done.

not surprising but your inability to understand has nothing to do with any edits - keep pushing that one though, it's a real zinger!

As a public service for the intellectually challenged, I'll spell it out for you...

The first point is that it's your team that thinks America is evil, which is why you want to tear it down and rebuild it in your socialist utopian view (which is actually evil).

The second point is that only you two seem to care about what Trump has to say - probably because you want to continue to associate anything Trump with your usual tropes (racism, threat to democracy, blah, blah, blah). Right now your playbook is to make every race from dog catcher to POTUS about Trump when most people have moved on from him - except for Dems and their media lap dogs who are desperate to keep him around.

Totally not an extremist.

?We are going to be asking everyone who sells drugs, gets caught selling drugs, to receive the death penalty for their heinous acts,? Trump said Tuesday.

Trump is pretty hyperbolic. The people who love him love that shit. Also a lot of the crap he says can?t be done. While the schedule of narcotic drugs is put together between the FDA and the DOJ, or at least that?s how I understand it, I?m pretty sure penalties and sentences are set by individual states.

I think the death penalty for everyone selling drugs is pretty extreme, but it wouldn?t harm me in any way. That?s probably how they do it in Russia and China and whichever Korea is the bad one and the Middle East and Latin America - except of course for the drug cartels whom are in cahoots with the banana republics.

it's actually not that extreme. Notice the phrasing: they're going to ASK drug dealers to receive the death penalty. They can always just say decline to receive it, and I imagine most will.

Grammar - nor much of anything to do with logic, reason or cognition - has ever really been Trump?s strong suit.

Duterte was doing that when he was President of the Phillipines. I think they were even executing drug users, not just drug dealers. They weren't messing around.

huh, well I for one am shocked and disappointed that Johnny or any other leftist would take a quote like that out of context and misrepresent it. this has to be the first time that's ever happened. I found it really surprising that he didn't agree with the quote as that is exactly what his team says all the time (Farrakhan, Wright, the squad, 90% of CNN and MSNBC, etc)

Am I now the only one on this board glad that Trump declared he's running again?

I'd honestly vote for him over Biden.

if it comes down to Rhonda DeSantos vs. Biden, I just won't vote.

capital punishment for drug addiction is one of those classic GOP voter hypocrises... where they are all for criminalizing something & policing it brutally until someone they know has it or suffers from it.

"Wait guys, my kid had a drug problem. It's not always as simple to stop using them as you think."

"Hey, my kid is gay, and I love him/her. Maybe we shouldn't stone all homosexuals to death."

coming soon: "My own kid had gender identity issues and became a woman/man. Maybe we shouldn't bully transgender people to suicide and laugh about it?"

see, you take these things to such extremes. Most right leaning people understand that drug addiction is a problem, they don't "stone homosexuals to death (most right leaning people don't even have an issue with homosexuals), and don't bully transgender people.

"Now you see here: I never advocated stoning homosexuals to death. I just wanted to legally deny them human rights such as marriage, and the right to adopt or have kids, and I was okay with allowing private companies to openly discriminate against them and call them perverts and degenerates. Have you no sense of decency, sir?"

again, who is saying these things? Certainly nobody on this forum. Not a single right leaning person I know or associate with. You seem to take a few extremist's points of views and lump everyone in with them.
