Get StartedHa. There were lots of guys with good ST that were out of baseball in 6 months.Glad to see Tork is putting to bed the "Tork is out of a job" Story.
Watch him surpass 2023 numbers this year.
You just can't let someone post positive about tork. Good lordHa. There were lots of guys with good ST that were out of baseball in 6 months.
And you can't say one bad thing about him. How is that different? Or are we suppose to be positive about everyone? So he gets some hits vs guys that will be back down in the minors, or waived, or cut. If he hits then I'll be glad, during the season. His best year was barely above average on offense and below average on defense. He's a 1B/DH he should be pounding the ball not hitting .230 with an OPS of 107. So he looks good compared to other bad hitters on the Tigers. Yay, he's a poor man's Rob Deer..You just can't let someone post positive about tork. Good lord
from the Tigers official site, and they have Perez leading off and playing CFOpening Day FAQ: Tigers vs. Dodgers.

on the flip side, there have been a lot of players that struggled for their first few years and ended up being great players.Ha. There were lots of guys with good ST that were out of baseball in 6 months.

I'm starting to think that tork did something personal to mitch.on the flip side, there have been a lot of players that struggled for their first few years and ended up being great players.

I get what you are saying. Tork may be a bust, but IMO it's way too early to make that call. He is still only 25. To put that into perspective, Carpenter is 27, Malloy is 25; Perez is 25, Dingler is 26, Sweeney is 24And I suspect fans talked negative about them this first few years. Take Duran of the Pistons.. Not sure if he signs long term here but through early this year fans were disgusted by him. Not scoring, no defense etc.. But since January he's a different player. As fans we should be able to have a neg. opinion of a ballplayer. Heck, the talk about a HOF player like Cabrera those last few years - if people say stuff like that about Miggy I think it's okay to say it about Tork.
Carpenter might be older but he was a rook in 2023, maybe 2022 and so far has hit well. Injuries aside. Those other guys are all fringe, AAAA guys.I get what you are saying.
