I'll say the OP is retarded....nothing wrong with the picks from a talent standpoint, injuries happen

One only has to spend 2 minutes in the "politics" forum to see your vast wealth of idiocy. If im a retard....you are god of the retards.

Torrey Smith was picked well below us...hows he doing compared to titus? #3 WR with 30 rec and 2 tds is not much production for a high #2 pick.

Titus just fucked you up.......keep talking

Trading for Scheffler, trading for Rob Sims, trading for Lawrence Jackson, trading for Corey Williams, trading for Chris Houston, trading for Alphonso Smith, trading for Shaun Hill, signing Burleson, signing KVB, drafting Suh, drafting Spievey (for a 3rd round pick converted CB he has played well in his 2nd year, not to mention no off-season), drafting Titus Young, signing Tulloch, signing Durant, drafting Willie Young, claiming Stefan Logan, and re-signing Chris Houston for a fair market price.

The jury is still out on Mikel LeShoure, Nick Fairley, Jahvid Best, and Jason Fox.

Now I gave you my list of what hes done in the past two years, you give me your list of the negatives.

he knows it all, everyone is wrong. just roll your eyes over each post and move on. or laugh your ass off. some of it is so retarded it's beyond comedy.

havent seen a single person show me the good things MM has done the last 2 years that helped this team (other than signing LBs which i mentioned in the OP).....so ya everyone can keep up with the name calling or you can debate like you had half a brain and give me some examples why im wrong. what exactly is beyond comedy in your eyes, retard. Put a list of all your good things hes done in 2 years and ill put my list of negative things....i bet my list is longer. end of story.

another guy that blasts me and says a bunch of names...then doesnt give his opinion. effing joke half this board is.

lol.....8-5 with Millen players? good you're stupid

Why Jahvid is looked at as a negative in your eyes is beyond me. With him in the lineup this year we went 5-0 and Calvin had a lot more room to make plays because Best was tearing it up underneath. Since his injury the offense has had trouble being as productive. Injuries are a part of the game.

Pretty sure it takes many rookies a couple of years to really shine and come into their own. Teams do not know what they have in many guys for a couple of years. The magical year for WR is said to be 3. But Titus Young has looked good in my opinion. All that guy does is catch first downs in 3rd down situations it seems. Injuries have not helped either as others have said. Give it a few years before posting this again please.

Jahvid is looked at as a negative because he missed the last 4 games of his career at cal because he had a SEVERE concousion (landed on his head with his helmet off). That was the third one within a few weeks. He was a huge risk...one that most NFL teams weren't willing to take. He may never play again...and if he does the next time he gets a concusion will be his last play in the NFL. He is / will be a bust.

stafford is one of the worst 3rd down qbs in the league....if all he does is catch 3rd down passes....its not many.

Nice list 1811....if im being honest i didnt realize williams, houston, lojack all came in that off season....seems like they been here for ever lol.

My biggest problem with your list is you added Spievey....i dont think hes played as well as you think. Agree to disagree.

I think your expectations are to high for him personally. Hes was draft in the 3rd round as a CB. He was moved to S right before his first season started and never got to do anything in TC there. As a rookie he was inconsistent, but you would expect that. Then you have the lockout this year and now hes lost two off-seasons to try to learn a whole new position. As far as his play, hes obviously been inconsistent, but he has shown flashes and I would expect a jump in production and play after a full off-season. IMO his third year will tell a whole lot about his future here, but I personally like him.

Where's the list of negative things? Looks like you're coming up a bit short here.

I was suprised they passed on Torrey for Titus, at the combine I heard one of the announcers say the lions were liked what they saw in him.

I like Titus. The announcers said he was a great route runner. They weren't lying. One of those things I love about him. He'll eventually become a consistent deep threat.

lol i hear ya....but my expectations are never high for a 3rd round cb. Especially not when they move positions. CB is just one of those positions where all the top talent comes in the first 2 rounds. I dont expect him to turn into much and my personal opinion is the faster we replace him the better. Ive said that since day one though...so atleast im consistent. I know theres a lot of people on this board that like him...im just not one of them.

lol sorry out with the fam today....saw immortals...good movie! Heres a short version gotta head to bed:

Traded up for Jahvid Best - more concussions than seasons played. Poor mans reggie bush. ATLEAST his durability concerns have proven hes not a full time back...id argue his skill set has too. Not good for a first round pick that you TRADED UP for.

Drafted Spievey - a 3rd rd cb being your starting safety isnt a good thing

The oline has 4 spots on it that will need to be replaced....and hes replaced 0.

When running over center we avergaed less than 1 yard last year....yet Dom is still our starter

When running to the right we averaged 1 yard last year....yet cherilus is still our RT and Peterman is still our RG.

Yes, those numbers are factual and for the ENTIRE YEAR. Meaning you were basically better off spiking the ball then trying to run in those directions....thats fucking horrible lol.

Backus has gotta be 45 years old...i think...and cant hack it against the elite DEs in our league (see Peppers hit on Stafford...he didnt even get a finger on him). Its time he moved to RT or RG.

We had Berry and Alphonso Smith as starting CBs entering this years draft....we drafted 0 CBs. There were about 10 FAs better than Wright in Free Agency...we didnt put a serious effort into signing any of them and wright is now known as one of the worst cbs in the league per PFF and numerous other sources.

We had Levy, Palmer and Carpenter as starting LBs going into this years draft....we didnt address LB until Hogue in the later rounds....yippie (yes i understand we signed LBs after the fact...thank god).

Instead of addressing any needs we drafted a DT, WR, and RB. Weve discussed their production at nausea in this thread....most of you are very optimistic that they will all be the best thing since sliced bread. 9 tackles, one sack, 3 TDs and 4 injuries combined doesnt impress me.

Most of the positives were listed in 1811s thread....but ill throw you a bone and add Willie Young to that.

I went to high school with torrey smith and he is a really good dude. But his hands are inconsistent where titus catches everything near him. The difference between smith and young so far this season has been the routes they have been given. When they have sent young deep its gone well look at his 2 tds. Baltimore has sent torrey smith as there deep threat more often.

Well thats another thing i have a problem with....he was brought in to stretch the field on the side opposite when CJ gets all the coverage rolled to his side.....and we havent done it all year lol. If he was being used like he was supposed to be...hed be used just like Torrey Smith. But hes not...
