Ansah injury

All players do those, just depends on how much and I, that's I, would like to see more. For a top 5 pick, raw or not I was hoping for more. Its okay for me to have that opinion.

Good for you. Have your opinion but if you thought this kid was coming here and getting 15 sacks in his rookie year then you're sorely mistaken, buddy. The kid was drafted on potential and pure raw athleticism. Doesnt surprise me coming from you that you want more from him anyways, just another reason for you to whine about something, right? Yeah.

And your comment on "all players do those". Ummm no they dont. You can see the potential and raw ability from a kid whose barely been even playing the game. Well, us football guys do anyways. You? Not so much...

Did I mention sacks? And I'm not your buddy. And why would we not want more from our high draft picks? Is that bad, forbidden, taboo? I'm sorry if you think every player we have is perfect but that's why we're all on a message board. Go to MLive if you want to agree on everything..

Cheers.

No, you didnt mention sacks but you said hurries and pressure dont mean shit to you. So what else you talking about, retard?

And i never said our players are perfect. Learn how to comprehend a fn sentence, you dummy.

And i never agree on anything you say because you're full blown retard and im reminding you every single time why you are.

Ansah is a special player who will struggle as a rookie. It was expected, go look at his college tape. He was drafted for potential and his athletic ability. It was a great pick and an even better pick for the future. I know when the word 'future' is thrown around here, dummies like yourself get their panties in a bunch. You want results now and thats understandable. So do i, but anybody whose anybody knew this kid would struggle a bit but he would also make sum splash plays every now and then. And he has....

It is crazy to think hurries don't mean anything Mitch. Yes sometimes a good QB still completes a ball on a hurr(more the DB or LBs fault) but sometimes it leads to ints or incompletions. The point is it still means the DE is doing his job or else there would be way more sacks than there are in this league. Willie Young bearing down on RG3 leading to the Houston pick. Suh bearing down on people leading to 4 Levy picks. Hurries make QBs do stupid things sometimes.

109 hurries in 8 games has led to 10 ints and 29% (2nd best in league) 3rd down defense. Hurries mean alot.

When KVB, Avril, Young, and Jackson didn't hurry QBs as much in 2012, we only had 11 ints in 16 games compared to 10 ints in 8 games and a worse 3rd down % allowed.

Do I want more than 13 sacks. You bet they are game changers but it doesn't mean the Dline isn't doing a solid job.

Where id I say they didn't mean anything? You need to retake your remediate English class.

"Who are these 8 Stud LT he's been playing..? And you really need to get off the hurries stat. It means less than you think. Plus, KVB sucked last season, not a good comparison. "

It means more than you think, retard.

That's not the point. I said less than you think and you and Mr. Moto went to "means nothing".

Your opinion or my opinion are fine. Its okay to disagree but get facts straight before you bash others..

You discounted hurries to disagree with me. And you are dead wrong for doing it. Ansah has done fine. My opinion is more informed about the meaning of hurries. So therefore better than your assessment on Ansah.

Schwartz thinks the same way. And he's right.

So getting a hurry is okay if the QB completes a pass anyway? We have, IMO, bad CB so it will happen. But to say you're right while I'm wrong is a bit zealous.

It's good for the DE. It means the DE did his job. So yes you are wrong in your Ansah assessment in both pass rush and run defense.

Its one part of his job and where did I say he sucked in any areas, like pass rush and run defense. I just think a top 5 pick should be doing more. You don't, great.

I want his name called more, some games I barely here his name. Outside the Redskins game, he's had a few where he's done very little.

Just because his name isn't called (tackles) again doesn't mean he isn't doing his job. He has a +2 run defense grade, he's plugging up the right gaps and Levy and Tulloch are tackling machines.

He was top 5 due to extreme athelticism. Not because he was a ready experienced DE.

Could he have done more against the Browsn and Bengals. He only played 12 snaps against the Cowboys by the way due to injury. Yes he could have but Joe Thomas and Andre Whitworth are the stud LTs I was talking about.

And that's okay. Different opinions are okay but instead of discussing it you completely dismiss it and assume I'm wrong. Maybe I expect more from him, what's wrong with that?

I'm not disappointed with the pick or anything - I know he's better than KVB was - and the conversation started with me just mentioning its a bummer another 1st year player might be missing games. I'm sorry if I want rookies to play all 16 games.

Other DE rookies are doing less, just saying.

I agree. But most aren't a top 5 pick. Maybe I am overboard. Maybe he's done well as a rookie. Doesn't mean I have to accept where's he's at. IMO, I just thought he'd be more of a disruptive player. My bad..

You being disappointed in him is wrong because you are not factoring in alot of his disruptions like hits/hurries and in run defense.

Young and Suh have made it so Ansah doesn't have to do as much and can grow as he gets experience. But Ansah still has done plenty of good things. Every player has room for improvement. If Fairley and Ansah pick it up in the second half, watch out.

Again with the wrong. Lol. Can't you just say you disagree..?
