I agree its very likely they want Hill back as imo hes arguably one of the best back-ups in the league and he has a great rapport with Lenehan. Like I said though, that call comes down to Mayhew and Lenehan. If Lenehan says he can swing it with Stanton and Martin thinks the money can be better spent then its def an option.

ya you don't let capable back ups walk when your 3rd is a clusterfuck like Stanton.

I think it has to more with Hill himself. Does he think he's a starter again in this league? From some reports i've read, he's very happy being Staff's backup. I think he stays.

SLH is coming off his rookie deal with only 3 years in the league, that makes him restricted right? if so then its a no brainer hes back on the cheap as nobody is giving up picks for him (even though I like the kid a lot)

1.2 million tender for Sammie Lee Hill, Levy and Hilliard. All original tender. If someone wants them pony up a 4th for Hill or 3rd for Levy. Maybe a 2nd round tender for Sammie Lee Hill just in case but that is another million.
