Baseball update

Yup agree.

Baseball opened a home and home series with Eastern Michigan and a two run triple in the 8th broke a 4-4 tie for a 6-4 win. Team is 26-13 now and still 12-2 in conference. Team is at Emu Wednesday.
 
Boys lead emu 10-4 in top of the 8th now.

Bounced back with a 9-4 win today at Rutgers. 28-14 and 13-3.
 
Baseball team takes series at Rutgers with a 6-1 win today.
Now 29-14 and 14-3.

Minnesota 14-3...(3 with MSU , and 3 at Rutgers).
Purdue 13-4.......(3 at OSu, and 3 with Michigan).

Sunday's game against Illinois is on the BTN, noon EST.

The following weekend, Friday's game against Purdue at W. Lafayette is on the BTN, 7 PM EST, and the next day, Saturday May 19th, the regular season finale against Purdue is also on the BTN at 1 pm EST.
 
Not a great start to the weekend. Boys thumped 10-3 today. If Minnesota wins they will take over first place.
 
Baseball blasted again at home 10-4 by Illinois. Now 14-5 tied for second with Purdue one game behind the Gophers.

Closer cant find the plate after getting first two outs in a 4-2 lead. And a single and walk later he throws a fucking 0-2 wild pitch then still dosnt waste a pitch on 1-2 and deep ground out to first fails to get anyone out and even the second runner scored because idiot first baseman was not paying attention (he looked out)and scored. Poor pitching, and defense , and coaching absolutely disgusting way to blow a save. 4-4 now bottom of ninth now. 4-4 top of tenth. 4-4 bottom of the tenth after some heart pounding moments . Runner thrown out at home after a one hopper to deep center and another dumb 0-2 single right where the pitch right down the middle of the plate to load the bases. 4-4 top of 11. 4-4 bottom 11th.

Sacrifice fly in the 11th wins a nailbiter 5-4. Team Improves to 15-5 In big ten.
 
I forgot to turn this on and watch it this morning, at least the first part; I would've had to have left before it ended.

Hopefully will see a deep run into the big 10 tournament and beyond that into the postseason. Go blue!
 
Dropped series opener at Purdue 3-0 and at 15-6 (32-18) and have fallen two games behind Minnesota with two games go before BTT pay starts next week :/

Well there was a piece of genius.

I have some dumbshit plays on my fairly near 60 years of watching sports on TV...but I have never seen a passed ball that resulted in a run on an intentional walk until just now.

What the fuck?
