Brandon Inge..................?

13 Plate Appearances = roughly 48 pitches at AAA.

I am sure the AAA pitchers are treating him like "Babe Ruth". How dare they not throw a fastball down the heart of the plate.

The Major League Pitchers are going to give him better pitches to hit, because their command, velocity and effectiveness isn't better than AAA pitchers.

I wish this sideshow would just end already. Inge is garbage as a player and that alone should be enough reason to show him the door.

Was he in the dugout today.... If so we are 0-1 since his recall.. LOL

Inge will be in the starting lineup at second base on Sunday, when the Tigers are scheduled to face White Sox left-hander Chris Sale.

There will be enough Tigers fans at New Cellular on Sunday. In a rare audio display, fans from both teams will boo at his introduction.

Pretty sure KC has already posted this, and perhaps most here have read the article about Inge by one Terry Foster. That isn't why I posted it. Please go to the comments section and read just why it is this putz stays around. Some woman noted that "he does so much for Michigan." See, there are plenty of folks up there that really, really look at this from their heart. Problem is, and a scary proposition, is that dd and jl are also not thinking with their heads but with their hearts. Someone somewhere also said that Worth was only hitting .200. Well, there's an answer for that too: Worth runs better, K's less often, fields about as well as Cringe.
All this means nothing, as Mr. K is returning. Sure, he could hit a HR and he could win a game, but my thinking is he'll cost us a few by not moving a runner up, hitting into a few Dp's and so forth. The Tig's need to cut bait now. Addition by subtraction if you will.

every time i saw someone type "Rayburn" in those comments i added them to my list. how hard is it to spell his name???

Inge in clubhouse - "I can't wait (to be in the lineup Sunday). I love playing baseball." About 2B: "I like it. It's more physical."
yawn....

So if the Tigers have a home game and Inge gets taken out at 2nd by someone trying to break up a double play, does the crowd cheer?

I don't hate Inge. I like the guy most of the time (except when he makes stupid comments), but it is time for him to retire. He used to be a plus fielder with occasional pop. But no more. It's painful to watch. Maggs was painful to watch last yr.

Leyland quote ....

When asked about Inge today, Leyland said: ?Made a couple plays. He had one hit. He?s fine physically.?

Really? ..lol

I'm not sure its his time to retire (for a baseball player, 34 isn't too old) even though I think he stinks but its his time to go somewhere else and try to salvage some of his career. But he's too stubborn and he know's someone is willing to add his name to the lineup.

0-2 with two horrific AB's.

Glad he was replaced by Boesch.

Inge on strikeouts:
"Such an over-rated stat, such a stupid stat. You won't hit the ball with any authority if you worry about K's."

Inge is a beast? Wtf is going on between these two in the fn dugout???

Spockmaster, help me understand all this fn nonsense...please...lol.
