Brett Kavanaugh

kind of like how assigning motive to my actions is something you do really consistently?

I'm not the one giving credit to Trump for the closure of the enthusiasm gap - that's being talked about by anyone and everyone who cites these polls. The fact that I say I'm happy the gap is closing, regardless of the reason, doesn't make me a trump supporter. Nor does citing the fact or at least the common belief that the gap is closing because these actions by congress are riling his base, just like the negative coverage did in 2016.

I'm a conservative, I'm disappointed that Trump and Congress haven't done more of what I'd like to see happen, but I like a lot of what he has done. For example, I happen to like Brett Kavanaugh and think he would be a good justice (he was my third choice, but top 3 is still pretty good). I certainly don't see the point in coming here to pile on with all the TDS sufferers everytime he does something I don't care for or something that doesn't surprise me. I tend to speak up when I here the groupthink TDS morons freaking out of nothing or misprepresenting something to fit their agenda. Or, as in this case, I stand up to refute all the BS hurled at Kavanaugh - because I like Kavanaugh, not Trump. If it helps, I admit I dislike him less than I did before he became President of the United States. If you think that makes me a Trump supporter, that's fine - in your mind, I'm a Trump supporter. That doesn't really matter to me or change my opinion of him.

As for the rest of this post and the talk of the enthusiasm gap and Kavanaugh, I was really speaking more to the "This is what happens when you mess with Trump" part of your post as the part that supports Trump.

I don't have any clue what your motives are. For example, I just wrote a couple lines about the distinction between motives and actions and said something specifically about your actions. You responded with this accusation that I do the exact opposite. I have no idea why.

In the first post you ask, incredulously if I'm not a Trump supporter and then you reply that I support Trump a lot. There shouldn't be much mystery.

but that's the point, that's what happens when you mess with Trump - his base gets riled up. I'm not riled up, I would vote in every election regardless of who the President is. Maybe I should have said this is what happens when Trump's base perceives he's being messed with. Is that better?

What's most interesting about this I think I've been pretty consistent about my position on Trump and separating his policy actions that I like from the personal stuff I don't. Yet I frequently find myself nitpicked by your doubt about whether I'm actually a Trump supporter or not and yet, you a supposed centrist Republican never once challenge mc or bob on their outrageous obvious lies, nonsense and bullshit about him and conservatives in general. Not that I care or feel like I need any help dealing w/ those knuckleheads, I just think maybe instead you should asking yourself whether you're a centrist or a hardcore leftist.

the grown up looks more like Ted Cruz than Kavanaugh, but it's still hilarious and spot on - particularly the Cory Booker kid:

hey, anybody can draw editorial cartoons

why don't you explain to us the difference between evidence and hearsay again, counselor?

You would know way more than me but isn't hearsay just "I heard it from someone" etc. but can't be corroborated? That said person is not here to backup the witness?

you mad bro?

right after you show us something that backs up your claim about his history of sleazy behavior with his law clerks and other women.

sure, anyone can draw cartoons but apparently not all lawyers can tell the difference between larceny, burglary or robbery or the difference between evidence and allegations. i know yoy went to a third tier law school, but you clealry overpaid for your degree.

Kristy Swanson had a couple big roles in a couple other iconic teen pop culture/cult movies.
She was Buffy in ?Buffy the Vampire Slayer,? and she had a pretty big role in ?Dude Where My Car??

Now I think she mostly does Hallmark movies.

Didn't she do playboy?

I don't have a ton of doubt here. It's pretty straightforward. I believe you don't like everything about Trump but I also believe that he would have far less support on this board if not for you. You don't consider yourself a supporter as a description of who you are, but you often support him. That's a thing that you do.

While I voted overwhelmingly republican in a lot of elections, I haven't considered myself to be a republican for a long time. Far more frustrated with republicans than democrats because I'd like to still be a republican. Seems like there was a question directed at the board conservatives and I answered "I don't know if I have any conservative cred left, but...".

I remember once-it was years ago, maybe even going up to a decade ago-Thumb made a list of the conservatives on the board and it didn?t include you. I think he might have been responding to a T Smith question, ?are there any conservatives on this board?? or ?is this a completely liberal board??

You damn near ripped him a new asshole for that.
