kind of like how assigning motive to my actions is something you do really consistently?
I'm not the one giving credit to Trump for the closure of the enthusiasm gap - that's being talked about by anyone and everyone who cites these polls. The fact that I say I'm happy the gap is closing, regardless of the reason, doesn't make me a trump supporter. Nor does citing the fact or at least the common belief that the gap is closing because these actions by congress are riling his base, just like the negative coverage did in 2016.
I'm a conservative, I'm disappointed that Trump and Congress haven't done more of what I'd like to see happen, but I like a lot of what he has done. For example, I happen to like Brett Kavanaugh and think he would be a good justice (he was my third choice, but top 3 is still pretty good). I certainly don't see the point in coming here to pile on with all the TDS sufferers everytime he does something I don't care for or something that doesn't surprise me. I tend to speak up when I here the groupthink TDS morons freaking out of nothing or misprepresenting something to fit their agenda. Or, as in this case, I stand up to refute all the BS hurled at Kavanaugh - because I like Kavanaugh, not Trump. If it helps, I admit I dislike him less than I did before he became President of the United States. If you think that makes me a Trump supporter, that's fine - in your mind, I'm a Trump supporter. That doesn't really matter to me or change my opinion of him.
As for the rest of this post and the talk of the enthusiasm gap and Kavanaugh, I was really speaking more to the "This is what happens when you mess with Trump" part of your post as the part that supports Trump.
