Bust Alert: Lions submitted claim for Pats/Bucs TE Tim Wright

Yeah making the playoffs has been terrible... right?? Fake football right there.

This statement implies we've been constantly making the playoffs. 1 Year in a row baby. Ties our longest streak since 93-95. To be fair 1 year in a row is our 4th longest streak in our franchise history. Sure both Manning and Brady have been in the playoffs more years in the Super Bowl era more than the Detroit Lions....But we haven't been that bad right?

The verdict on Ebron is far from a clear cut case. I didn't like the pick much, but I'm far from completely giving up on the kid. I honestly think he'll have a strong season. He is a matchup probem, no matter how much we talk shit about the whole "matchup nightmare" moniker. Fact is ,that if he progresses, that's exactly what he could/should be. Give the kid a break until we at least see what he brings to the table in year 2

Mitch status is what we all strive for.

"Sir, how can I get to the Mitch status."

"Well lets see, you're currently at the Tony status. First you need to go through the LKP status followed by the double loser status and the loser status. Once past the loser status, there is the I suck status and I suck less status. Get through all that and you'll be at Mitch status. So a long ways off.."

"Damn, I thought I was already at the suck status."

"No son, the Tony status is where you're at."

'A' for effort most definitely. Impressive

He's not allowed to have a year 2. Rookie TEs are supposed to come in and light up the sky. Shame on you...

Forgot Tony..thanks for the reminder. Go fuck yourselves Lions. You suck assholes

Oh, and here comes the "What's he supposed to say?" comments.

In 1....2....3.....

Must suck to sit on here and talk down our team all offseason. Looks depressing

Complety depressing. Negativity is a sickness. Some of the people on this board are so down and out on themselves that they have to tear down something they "love"......sad indeed.

I said it, lol. Next year I'm just going to chime in daily with a post that will line up perfectly with all the typical pessimistic comments on here during the offseason. LKP truly does fuel this board during the offseason, good work. Without him this board would completely die off when there's no football.

Lions go 11-5 and they are down in the dumps.

They don't give the Lions much credit for several wins. Where do you think my true wins came from? It's just the opposite of the haters Lions "lucky" win term.

2013 Lions lost to Giants, Bucs at home, at Vikings and went 1-3 against AFC. 7-9

2014 Lions crushed Giants, Bucs at home, won at Vikings and went 2-2 against AFC. Beat Miami instead of losing to Ravens on miracle FG. Though they lost to Bills on miracle FG by Carpenter and went 0-3 in that game. Cincy beat us on last second FG too and blocked a FG setting up a TD like Miami did. 11-5

Getting away from football (Lions)talk for a few months every year works wonders, honestly. It almost replenishes my love for our team. I read about what's going on with the team, but take a rest from any real debates or negativity directed at the Lions and their players.
