Chargers, Rams, Raiders all file for relocation

Yes, but more fans? As you said, all those beaches.. no reason to go to games.

about 2.7M people in St. Louis metro area compared to 18.5M in the LA area. I don't think there is enough room on the beach for 18.5M people

What can I tell ya?

I honestly don't care if a team relocates here or not; that said I guess whoever owns the Rams these days views it as a good business move.

1) No one from LA is even from there.
2) The ones that are from there already have USC as their football team
3) The fucking stadium is in Carson. No one wants to go to Carson...ever.

Bear in mind guys that LA was actually the largest football market in the world when teams were there.

They didn't lose the Rams and Raiders because of low attendance. They lost them because the Colosseum was falling down and the city was refusing to renovate it or build a new one.

It was one of the first cases of a taxpayer funded stadium request, and LA County told both teams to go to hell. No one thought the teams would actually pack up and leave, they just assumed the owners would pay for a new stadium.

Hundreds of millions of dollars in cost, and the owners chose to bail instead. Now they have a stadium group that wants to build a 2 billion dollar play house, and everyone wants to move back in for a sleepover.

Two teams will survive nicely in an era where owners do not pay for stadiums.

Has it actually even been built?

To the best of my knowledge, ground hasn't even broken yet.

Whoever moves to LA will end up playing a year or two in a college stadium, like the Vikings have been, and the Cardinals before that.

The stadium ownership group wants a committed team before dumping the money. That makes total sense. The teams that have filed to move, I assume, have leases expiring with their cities. So they can't afford to sign a new lease, they need to move now, and wait for the new stadium to be constructed.

The interesting part is what happens if owners approve the Chargers and Raiders to move, but apparently the Rams have the right to go without approval. Is it possible LA could end up with three teams when it's all said and done?

Given there are two common time slots for games... what happens then? The Rams used to play the early game, and the Raiders the afternoon game. Two teams can't play on the field at the same time, so it almost seems as if Stan Kroenke has forced the NFL's hand in approving his team, since he holds the trump card for whatever reason.

Rams - Inglewood
Chargers/Raiders - Carson

Rams used to play every game at 10am PT? No wonder they left.

They switched it up occasionally, but for the most part (85% maybe?) the Rams played the 10am PST slot.

That was a really tough year for LA sports fans. The Rams left. The Raiders left. The Clippers stayed.

Are they going to do that again? One of my favorite things about going to a game is to tailgate. I'm not alone on this ink. Wtf am I supposed to be grilling scrambled eggs and drinking Irish coffee at 8am on a Sunday morning? The LA Rams, the official team of jobless alcoholics.

Not home games; not at all.

1 pm PT just like the Raiders, Chargers, and 49ers all did.

EDIT: I don't remember when Seattle came into being, but they never started 10 AM either.
Cardinals and Broncos start home games at noon 1 or 2 or whatever.

No team any sport starts home games at dumbass times ever.

I just heard on the radio that the Rams have the lowest attendance in the league.

I don't know how the current owner took ownership from the crazy bitch who drown her husband.

Well she eventually died herself; I know that part of it.

The people of St Louis must be visiting the arch on game day.
