It's not speculation, much of this has come from Brandon's own mouth. He also made it no secret he felt "3rd base belonged to him" both times Cabrera supplanted him.


the second time, Leyland was quoted as saying that inge wasn't a "happy camper" about cabby moving to 3rd but he undertstood the reason for the move. I don't have a problem with that statement at all.

amazing that we're still having discussions about him. I think tiger fans need a player to hate, either it's inge, raburn, or valverde. it seems like there is a different one each year

Inge = apple Raburn = Cinder Block Valverde = 2 X 4

Tigers' fans here can differentiate the disdain for the three. The latter two was performance-based only.

The disdain for Inge is for his own delusional viewpoint about his performance.

Every fan base has players it vilifies. It's not exclusive to the Tigers.
