Coachwatch 2014

Man I don't wanna hear about this Austin leaving shit. It's making me sad. The steelers can keep Labeau for over a decade worth of defensive awesome and we can't keep a guy for even two seasons? Doesn't the team deserve to be able to hold on to something decent long enough to put it all together? It's seriously pissing me off. The one good thing about the team leaving after one season is gonna drive me to drink. Ugh.

I know it's been reported that LeBeau is already talking about joining the Cardinals, but it would be pretty sweet to swoop in on him if Austin is really on the way out. It was always strange to me that a HOFer for the Lions, one of the best defensive coaches ever, could never be convinced to coach here.

I think Austin will get interviews but no job offers this year. I think next year he's gone if we have similar success on defense.

I hope Austin is back. Nobody knew who this guy was going into the season. I have some faith of course they will get a good replacement.

hearing rumors of Kubiak to the Broncos from my coworker who's a Broncos fan... take it with a grain of salt though

If these latest rumors pan out, we're probably okay, unless Austin suddenly comes up in San Fran.

Still seeing Fox to Chicago.

If we were ever in a position we were going to lose austin we should fire caldwell and promote austin.

Our biggest problem now may be Denver.

Supposedly Denver wants Quinn. Atlanta wants Quinn. Rumor says Quinn wants Atlanta.

But if Denver is able to sway Quinn to Mile High, the Falcons fall back choice would likely be Austin. They are interested enough to have him in for a second interview.
