Coachwatch 2014

Gase? If we've learn anything over the years Peyton Manning is the OC. The OC are just puppets..

If caldwell has the wherewithal to hire the right coordinators, then he's cool in my book

ESPN is saying Fox to the Bears is all but done and Kubiak will actually interview with the Broncos. I think if he interviews then he would take the job. So unless Atlanta just doesn't want to wait for Quinn then he's going to be with us another year.

"Make no mistake about, Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has been atop the Atlanta Falcons' wish list for a head coach for a few weeks now. But the coaching moves going on across the league have made the Quinn-Falcons marriage almost inevitable.

Quinn emerged as the lead candidate in front of Todd Bowles and Teryl Austin following the first round of interviews. Former New York Jets coach Rex Ryan was too impatient and didn't have the full backing of everyone in the Falcons' organization, which led to him moving on to the Buffalo Bills. Then Bowles, formerly the Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator, went for a second interview with the Jets and came out of it as Ryan's replacement.

That left Quinn and Austin as the primary candidates, with Quinn still the top target in the Falcons' mind and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels not completely out of the discussion.

Things got quiet from Austin's camp after his second interview with the Falcons Thursday so it's hard to say exactly where he stands at this point, although he shouldn't be totally ruled out. Austin pitched bringing Adam Gase from the Denver Broncos as his offensive coordinator, but Quinn apparently wants the same. As ESPN Insider Adam Schefter reported, the Falcons have requested an interview with Gase for the offensive coordinator position after previously interviewing him for the head-coaching spot.

But there is no doubt about Quinn's place among the Falcons. And Washington, D.C., NBC reporter Dianna Russini cited a source saying Quinn wants the Falcons' job."

Austin has removed himself from consideration in Denver, so it's down to Atlanta and remaining in Detroit.

Falcons are still hot and horney for Quinn, so we might be in luck yet.

Franchise Suh. Let Austin draft 7 rounds of DBS. Pray.

Could be a landing spot for schwartz as dc.

That D is bad. If he turned them around he would deserve another HC job. They just don't have much talent.....especially young talent. Willie Young and Kyle fuller are good pieces, but I wouldn't say they are anchors of a good D.

Kubiak expected to take over in Denver. Once they announce it and if Austin doesn't get the job right away, then they are waiting on Quinn.

Screw the offense completely. I truly believe Austin with a great secondary would give us the 2000 Ravens.

Need a pass rusher still....best mlb in history of the game would help too lol. But ya...we could use young talent at corner.
