We bought a chest freezer specifically for it. They're not very expensive and hold quite a bit. I think we got ours for less than $150 on sale.

On 2nd thought, I could probably freeze over a cow if I started with an empty freezer. But it would last a long time.

And concerns about spoilage due to a power outage are probably overblown. It would stay frozen without power for several days. I accidently unplugged it for probably a couple days and nothing was beginning to thaw.

how big is it? can yo u post a link? When I was a kid we had huge coffin freezer in our basement. It was probably a little bigger than a kitchen fridge/freezer combo. We could put a side of beef in there and have quite a bit of room left. I'd have to make room in the garage for anything big enough to store half a cow plus other stuff. I'll probably have to wait since the garage will likely get torn down as part of a major renovation next year.

Just get Neil Ferguson to declare ACCC a viral pandemic. Nobody can get live stock slaughtered en masse like that guy. You should probably buy a few cows first.

Then start a Reddit chat group and create a bunch of fake profiles like "Gulo Blue" "Gulo 2masksrbetrthan1" "Gulo Cowsrevil" to pump up the value even faster. It will be worth so much, people will be talking about quantities of gold being worth their weight in t-bones.
