seems like more of an accounting than a celebration - appropriate given the anecdotes/celebrations of people dying without the vax.

Kind of an interesting twitter thread exposing how many of the anti-vaxx/mask wacky figures on the right had profiles on a talent search website. Some notable names there: Tomi Lahren, Candace Owens, Laura Boebert, and they include videos of some other less notable ones who scream at school board meetings and that sort of thing.

Maybe it's just a coincidence all of them are failed actors/actresses with profiles on the same site?

If you're still looking at it from an 'if you're not dead, you're fine' approach after nearly two years of this, I don't believe anyone can make you understand.

As for making me ?understand?, I ?understand? that the cases and deaths from COVID are overwhelmingly slanted to people about 50 and up, and negligible in the age range < 18.

Two years ago, we knew early on that the danger of death or other bad outcomes for children could be statistically rounded down to 0% - obviously with a few outliers, around 400 deaths.

If after two years you?re still not looking at this from a perspective of risk categories, I don?t believe anyone can make you understand.
