Invisible man in the sky - "eat my body, and drink my blood, you will live forever in paradise"

Some posters in this thread - "Oh yeah, will do for sure"

Doctors and health professionals - "wear a mask or face covering in public to help prevent the spread of contagious disease spread though coughs and sneezes"

Same posters in this thread - "There is no proof it works, must be a scam"

Some of you are just being dumb-asses, plain and simple, and you probably already know this.

I hope someone nowhere near as smart as you did the sweaty grunt work to put that image together and you just came across it and posted to this thread.

Copied and pasted from Reddit. Easy peasy.

And for the record, I think that mask is pretty bad ass, maybe the nicest I've seen. Certainly his most presidential moment in my eyes.

Yep, only waited until 135k people died before he had his most presidential moment.

Honestly my first thought when I saw trump wearing a mask was. Well Shit the Left finally got him to shut up.

The other day I forgot to take mine off when I got in the car (because they're so little of an inconvenience, I sometimes forget it's on) and I felt like that guy. I was embarrassed for myself.

I have yet to forget that I have a mask on, particularly when I'm coaching little league in the July heat and humidity - even the comically thin temporary throw away masks are annoying. but you don't have a choice because of all the tattle tales out there. We got an email after the first 2 days of games about social distancing kids in the dugout and runners on base and that all spectators, regardless of social distancing are expected to wear masks. It's ridiculous - if you can't stand seeing a person or a family sitting by themselves w/o masks while they watch a game, then stay home or watch the game from your car. All these Karens in suburbia annoy the crap out of me.

Umpired three games on Saturday. No one was wearing masks and no one cared. The only thing the kids distanced themselves from was the wasp's nest in the dugout.

No one seemed to care at our games either, by then we got the email about the complaints the league was getting.

There are worse things. I just don?t see the point in pretending that it?s not uncomfortable or inconvenient especially when it?s not clear that it?s necessary or effective.

I use cutting and welding torches in my sweltering garage often for projects . The face/eye protection I wear for that is far more intrusive than a cloth mask over the bottom half of my face. I imagine that's why it doesn't bother me. Why would I pretend? For false internet bravado? Please.

I wouldn't assume you've taken your anti mask stance just because Trump told you to. Give me some credit at least.

First of all, I salute you on your guy welding stuff.

Second, apologies to SpartanMack for jumping in uninvited on his behalf.

All that said, it?s pretty well known that welding can be dangerous to the eyes. That?s why welders wear what is known as a ?welders mask.?

In the age of Covid, waiters in restaurants are now wearing welders masks to wait on people that they?re serving food to.

There is very little danger to a waiter?s eyes who is serving me food-unless that waiter gets my order wrong. Then I may take my fork and try to gauge that waiters eyes out of his or her face.

A person protecting their own eyes in their own garage is very different from a person withdrawing money from an ATM when nobody is anywhere near them as far as the eye can see.

That?s why again I go to this-I have a mask with me in public and I put it on when I am unable to be socially distant from other people.

Don't, I'm still really bad. It's actually embarrassing how bad I still am considering how often I practice.

That was my point originally. That I was embarrassed that I forgot to take my mask of once it was not necessary to be wearing it (in a car). I agree that there are many instances where a mask isn't necessary. Mack just seemed to take exception with the fact that the mask doesn't bother me. Apparently that's just not possible.

That was sarcasm/exaggeration as I thought you were being sarcastic in the comment I quoted. No offense meant.

I'm not hard core anti-mask. My stance on masks is fairly consistent with my generally sceptical approach to most things people politicize and freak out over. Similarly, I don't think COVID is a hoax, nor do I think the President does, but I am highly sceptical of the numbers - for example, I have a hard time believing that our numbers are that many times worse on a gross and per capita basis than the rest of the world - especially China. I'm also skeptical of the prescriptions for battling the virus or at least certain aspects of them. I do think it's very possible that this is being politicized and overblown both as a power grab and strategy for placing blame to win an election.

I am hard core anti-tattle tale assholes. If you're social distancing at your kids game and keeping your kids socially distanced and the lack of social distancing you're witnessing doesn't involve a robbery or assault or some other criminally dangerous behavior, mind your own business.

Although I'm skeptical, I still follow the protocols because my wife's parents are part of the most vulnerable cohort and I want to coach my kid's teams or watch them play.

if you don't lick the fork first, you probably won't give him or her COVID, especially if you don't have it yourself.
