Coronainsanity

okay, troll away. I'm done.

I hope you guys don't actually start to believe this bullshit, let your guard down, contract COVID-19 and die.

I've been COVID-conscious in regards to social distancing for decades, to stay out of harm's way of people. "That's close enough" is a common phrase that I utter to strangers.

I wash my hands like a thoracic surgeon. I walk serpentine in parking lots.

So my guard is ever in Amber.

The mask is window dressing for me, but if it makes me even more unapproachable, great.

Great. but how come your posts on COVID-19 are so inconsistent with your actual behavior?

It doesn't fit you. That's troll behavior, and I've only accused Spartanmack of that.

yeah, we've already established you're the guy who trolls people (like you are here in this thread with your pedantic nit picking nonsense) then gets upset and accuses others of trolling when they respond in kind.

KUSI is independently operated by "McKinnon Broadcasting."

From Wikipedia:
"... a privately owned television broadcasting company based in San Diego, California. Michael Dean McKinnon Sr., a longtime supporter of politically conservative causes, is the company's majority owner, president, chief executive officer (CEO), and chairman of the board."
He appears to have gotten it the old-fashioned way, by inheriting it from his dad.

Come on you guys... show a little more critical thinking. This mud isn't very deep. Wonder how big the checks McKinnon writes to "Doctor" Kelly Victory's are? Is that even her real name?

that's the best you've got? She's not credible because she works for people you disagree with. the only credible doctors are the ones who get paid by liberal leaning employers? Good thing you're here to test the depths of the mud for everyone.

Actually, don’t sell going to church short vis-?-vis going to a titty bar. I’ve gotten laid by way more women I’ve met at church that I ever have gotten laid by from women I’ve met at a titty bar.

I once got laid by a chick I picked up at a papal mass, where I saw the pope. How many guys can say they got laid by a chick that picked up at a titty bar, where they saw the pope?

I didn't pick up my wife at a papal mass (met her at a bar) but I attended one with her very early on in our relationship (Ratzinger at Yankee Stadium) and eventually slept with her. Does that count?

I knew a guy in Chicago who was Jewish but he would sometimes go to Sunday evening mass at my parish because there were so many attractive young single women. He called A** Mass.

did you think of Ratzinger while you fornicated?

did you think before you asked such a stupid question? Do you think anyone would find that funny? And before you respond, I'm not remotely offended by it, I just don't see how anyone (besides you) could be dumb enough to think that's funny. Besides being completely unfunny, it's too immature to even call it juvenile. It was weak even for you.

It should definitely count for something.

I dated a Jewish chick who said it was a good Jewish girl?s obligation to have a schtupp when Shabbat ends.

I don't see that as accurate. I recognize the virus for what it is. I despise the way it has been distorted and exploited by media, advertising, politicians, et. al. And there has been a lot of disinformation, waffling, double-speak, and emphasis on the wrong aspects of this virus.

FYI, I get a bit more of an increase per year than Dr. Victory. 48k.

2010 2,468,435

2011 2,515,458

2012 2,543,279

2013 2,596,993

2014 2,626,418

2015 2,712,630

2016 2,744,248

2017 2,813,503

2018 2,839,205

Extrapolating lands you on 2,940,609 for 2020.

sounds like that's a "yes."

Adding up the observed deaths through 10/24 from here:

https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Excess-Deaths-Associated-with-COVID-19/xkkf-xrst/data

yields 2,665,130, which puts us on pace for 3,230,000 for the year, (edit:) which is 320,000 more than we'd expect. That's spot on where the covid projection is for IMHE, but I expect more since the excess deaths have exceeded the covid projections and that would make sense for an extrapolation of the year so far since we really didn't have covid in January of February and projections include it continuing to get worse for the remainder of the year.

Wow... that's a 31% increase in deaths/year going back to 2010.

If the population had also increased that much over the last decade, there'd be over 404,000,000 Americans. The current estimates are only 331,000,000

More Americans are already dying than usual... opioids, overdoses, suicides, alcoholism, etc.

There's no fancy math here; this is just drawing straight lines through data - so yeah, that's a lot of aging population rather than population growth. Baby boom I guess.

Look at these charts:

New cases per day - increase getting steeper.

Case fatality rate - looks like it peaked during the first wave. Supposedly treatment has improved, and the fatality rate has gone down as more young people get infected. I assume it's going to go up as ICUs get filled again, maybe not to that peak number, but far more people are getting this now than during the first wave.

Total deaths - US closing in on 250K

The coronainsanitary roll on - literally.

Lines at Dodger Stadium for testing people who can’t get an appointment at a medical facility.

And why can’t they get an appointment at a medical facility?

Because they’re not fucking sick!

And the fast result PCR test - seems so many positive tests get retested immediately, with the second test coming back negative.

So I have an idea - why not have healthy people wait five hours in line at Dodger Stadium in their cars and employ hundreds of testers wearing Hazmat suits to, when it’s finally every car’s turn, instead of administering a medical test, just flip a coin?

If the coin toss comes back positive, do another coin toss.

If it comes back positive again, take your asymptotic ass home and self-quarantine for 14 day.

This is a rare swing and a miss. Maybe your least interesting script pitch. You could tie Gary Oldman to this project and I still wouldn't want to see it. Maybe if there were murder hornets trying to get into the cars...

Son-in-law works at a nursing home in rural MI.

COVID spread through the facility. He tested positive, no symptoms, quarantined, quit the place, and he's a lot happier.

Was it Buchanan, MI? My 94 year old aunt tested positive in her nursing home along with 4 others. They got moved and quarantined then moved back 4 days later after her entire wing tested positive. So far, she has told my dad that she has mild cold symptoms but otherwise feels fine. She said the most ?suffering? she?s endured was being restricted to her room for 4 days.
