The Lions today signed offensive lineman Matt Rotheram to the practice squad and released running back Mike James from the practice squad.
Rotheram (6-feet-5, 325 pounds) most recently spent time on the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh in 2015 and spent last season as a member of the Green Bay Packers' practice squad.

Lions signed OL Matt Rotheram to the practice squad, releasing RB Mike James.
Rotherham was on Philadelphia's practice squad this year and Green Bay's last year. Rotheram played college ball at Pitt, where he played right guard.

Calvin Johnson said he misses "the guys in the locker room" from football.
But he reiterates on SportsCenter how much his body was beat up and that the recovery wasn't happening like it had in the past.
Last night on Dancing with the Stars he said he couldn't stand on tiptoes last year.

Calvin Johnson said on SportsCenter that Julio Jones is "unstoppable" when he's healthy. Jones has come closest to breaking Johnson's single-season receiving yards record.
