The Lions trading Kyle Van Noy signals another second round pick that didn't work out for former GM Martin Mayhew.
Joins Mikel Leshoure, Ryan Broyles, Titus Young as second rounders who didn't even fulfill rookie contracts with the club.

LB Josh Bynes is re-signing with the Lions, a source confirms to ESPN.
Bynes had been with Detroit earlier this year but was released off injured reserve last month with an injury settlement. He now comes back to the club after the trade of Kyle Van Noy to New England.
Bynes will likely slide into one of the starting linebacker spots, most likely at SAM whenever DeAndre Levy returns from injury.

LIONS WIN DOESN'T MOVE THE NEEDLE FOR FPI.
