11. Nick Castellanos, 3B, Tigers, age 20.

Rob Brantly C Tigers ? Age 22 ? The 2010 third round draft pick found a little pop in his bat in the Midwest League in 2011, which carried over somewhat to the Florida State League, however, little else did. He?s hitting .375 with 3 HR?s in 2012. Brantly has a decent .240 ISoP through 88 at bats. He does not take many walks, nor does he strikeout much. He could find himself as a back up in Detroit sometime this season.

This story on Adelin Santa was from last year when they signed him.
He was 16 then, 17 now, my guess is he spends it in the DSL Dominican Summer League and if he does well, goes to a winter league?
imo and a guess, Probably a year to two years from coming stateside.

Nick Castellanos 3-5 performance bumps his MiLB leading batting average to .406. He's reduced his Ks from 26% in '11 to 18%.

Rondon has issued just 1BB since April 26th.He's figuring things out & working hard; 8BB over 14 IP.Gotta love the 14.5 K/9 & the 101mph FB.
Bruce Rondon hit a reported 104 mph on several radar guns tonight. minor league radar gun, still impressive.
