This is from the Tigers minor leagues site, and I am only posting a small portion of the reason, that Tigers 2011 international draft pick Adelyn Santa was dropped, He requested his release from the organization and it was granted.
In a conversation with Tigers director of international operations Tom Moore, TigsTowns' Mark Anderson. indicated that Santa recently expressed his desire to leave the organization.
It's a curious decision for Santa. Now he will now enter the free agent market a year older and possibly in less demand than he was in 2011.

There were plenty of high 90s fastballs on display at the Futures Game, but Tigers prospect Bruce Rondon outdid everyone. Rondon needed just four pitches to get two outs, and they were all fastballs: 102, 101, 101 and 101 mph. And while he didn't show it Sunday, scouts who saw Rondon at Double-A Erie say he also has a very good slider -- and some Jose Valverde-like flair.
