Tigers finish rd trip 5-4, their 3rd consecutive winning road trip.
31 road wins is two more than they had all of last year.

Tigers now go home for 6 games with Twins and Indians....
Tigers just 16-14 in last 30 home games.

Twins are getting healthy - have added Span and Morneau since Tigers last saw them 3 weeks ago. Tigers are 8-1 vs. Twins this year.

1984: The Tigers cuff Tommy John for ten hits in six innings to beat the Angels 8 - 3. Dan Petry (15-5) scatters eight hits in eight innings, and Dave Bergman backs him with two triples and three RBIs. The Tigers' lead is now nine games.

2001: The Tigers defeat the Angels 5 - 1, as Detroit OF Roger Cedeno leads the team with five hits.
