Draft Day 3 Thread

This blows. My DVR receiver took a crap on Thursday, so my living room TV is down until tomorrow. I can go watch the draft in the bedroom, but don't really want to do that.

I didnt' even realize Hepburn was still out there. Some people had him rated as a 3rd round guy.

Still would have rather had Chase Thomas.

Let's get him on the phone after the draft, and Chris Faulk too.

Too bad he wasn't around when we had Jerome Harrison. They would have made a great team.

One kills cancer cells in rats. One has a brain tumor.

We missed a PR opportunity there.

Pretty productive Draft in my eyes.

4 starters. A couple of project guys. Hepburn might actually make an immediate impact on special teams and can be groomed as a starter. Williams is one year and two jelly donuts from moving the RT.

And if anyone else gets sick, we have a genius level biochemist in the house. In fact, if anyone needs undetectable steroids.. we have a genius level biochemist in the house.

I'd love to see us give a phone call to Faulk, Bailey, Thomas, Nixon, Riddick, McCray, Rodgers, and Bray. Kick the tires on these guys at a minimum.

After hearing the Schwartz presser on Martinn, I'm actually digging this pick.

He's a punter who averaged 45 yards a punt his senior year, and 40 yard per his first three years. But more importantly he can kick off.

I like the idea of saving Akers leg for field goals and taking some wear and tear off the old man, so a punter who can kick off is a natural fit, especially one that can kick 45 yard averages.

It was my understanding they can start contacting free agents immediately following the draft, but I'm not really sure to be honest.

I like seeing Holtz on that list. He's a decent player. Practice squad material for a year or so, but he can develop into a good T.
