Draft Day 3 Thread

Well, Schwartz said last night that Rieff was going to be the LT this year, and Fox and Hilliard would compete at RT, so with Warford in house, I would say our odds of going further with O-Line are pretty thin.

Maybe a C is still in play, but I doubt it. It's hard enough to lose 3 of 5 starters in a year. They will give Riola another season before they make it 4 of 5.

Could have been a nice backup center and guard this year and a starter at center next year.

Agreed. But they can come back next year and take a starting C in the third or 4th potentially. Looking to fill needs for this season, and build a little at a time on the line.

I can agree with the philosophy too.

Of course... my boy Barret Jones is still there. With the foot injury, he would need a year or so to heal, which makes for great grooming time too.

Looks like a run on O linemen, any way Jones slides to us????

With the foot injury being what it is.. it's possible.

Really, Jones should have been off the board already. At one point people were talking 1st round with him, and then it was early 2nd. The foot injury has him sliding, he could keep on sliding.

Wow... I didn't see Nassib to the Giants. He just got drafted to be a career backup.

Nassib?

Smart move, imo. Could get a higher draft pick for him in a few years. And they have a talented backup in the meantime.

If you think Nassib is better than the David Carr (hard to argue that point) then yep, you gotta take him if he's on your board.

Just gotta be disappointing for Nassib when he had first round talk happening.

I'm still hoping for Khaseem Greene in 4 and Barret Jones in 5.

Let's see... what would be a perfect draft for me?

4. Khaseem Greene.
5. Barret Jones
6. Rod Sweeting
7a. Brad Wing
7b. Caleb Sturgis

Yes, I would be all kinds of excited with that draft.

ESPN says Ghana 2 Michagin 0.

Hopefully they can get Jones, PUP him and see where he is at, then IR him if you have too. Get him a year in the play book and weight room.
