Draft Day 3 Thread

Goodbye jones. Stupid Espn had to talk about him.

So opportunity cost wise we traded Thair for Okafor, Schwenke, or Jones. Hopefully he pans out.

Rich cracks me up. He bleeds Maize and Blue and although he hinds it well at times there are times he cant help himself.

Aboushi is a good player, but I don't really know that he's any better than Fox to be honest.

I'd rather see us go with a big man in the middle to replace the Mighty Morhpin Power Midget.

Can't look at it that way though amigo. That's hindsight.

Tahir Whitehead is going to be given a chance to start for us this year. He will compete. Let's see what a year of experience and more coaching brings.

Not harping negative wise just looking at what would have, could have been. Most likely we still would have traded that pick to get back in the second like we did with Leshoure. I'm hoping at the end the season Tahir is starting on the strong side.

Okay, with Geene gone, I'd still be happy with Chase Thomas there.

I really think Whitehead has the talent and physical tools to be a starter in this league. He looked awfully bad as a pick last year, but it's probably going to come down to him or Palmer for us replacing Durant this year.

Not saying I love that idea, but I can't say I hate it either. I'm actually more comfortable with Whitehead or Palmer than I am with Levy.

Gerald hodges would be a nice pickup at lb

Brandon Jenkins from Fl. State would be a great pick in the 6th. He has falled because of a foot injury that led to a crappy year.

When healthy, he could be 2nd or 3rd round talent.

We all need to quit talking about who we hope we get. Apparently other teams are watching, because every time we mention a pick, there he goes off the board.

Hodges to the Vikes.
